Does anyone know if the odds of a missed m/c are different at all after a spontaneous m/c? I had a spontaneous miscarriage at 7.5 weeks a few months ago and am now about 9 weeks along. I saw a heartbeat at 7w1d and so I am not particularly concerned about this pregnancy, but I am wondering whether the odds of a missed m/c are lower for women whose bodies have already 'proven' able to recognize a non-developing fetus. Or is every m/c 100% different?

I don't know what the scientific odds are, but I had a spontaneous m/c at about 6 weeks and then 8 months later had a missed m/c that was diagnosed around 7 1/2 weeks by ultrasound. All there was on the u/s was an empty amniotic sac. So I'd say that each pregnancy is different. Good luck though!
