Hi, Bee & Coda! Thanks! Bee, you must be so excited - I bet the girls are going crazy waiting. Coda - That is so cute that they had to "chase" the baby! She is going to keep you on your toes when she starts walking one day! ha, ha! I had a tlittle bit of that blackish stuff again today, so I saved it in a plastic bag (gross, I know) and plan on dropping by the doc's office tomorrow to show them. I also have had this annoying pain, but it is not in my belly. It is right below my rib cage to the left slightly - it feels like after you do a hundred push ups and the next day your abdominal muscles hurt. I had it yesterday whle we were food shopping, and when the cart got heavy I just made dh push it (foruntately he was there) and after dinner i laid down and it eventually just lessened and went away. LASt night I felt it again when I woke up to go to the bathroom (had tons of pressure down there which freaked me out but it turned out just HAD TO GO really bad - bowel movement - and I felt fine afterward. But it has come much milder on and off again today. It feels like a muscle strecthing - have either of you had anything like this at 10-11 weeks? I keep telling myself that it is just my uterus stretching, and maybe my stomach mucscles getting pushed farther out. I have also had a a very mild twinge on my lower left side nearer to my hip which I attribute to gass or uterus strectching as it, too, isn't "deep within" and often is accompanied by some stomach rumbling. Threw up yesterday so that is a good sign, and today was feeling a bit naseuos, though not too bad. Haven't eaten much, so I really need to go make some lunch. Anyway, just looking for someone to say - eh, don't worry - it is just your uterus stretching. Ooh, yeah, that one on my side is definietly gas - i can feel it now. But that one up top - defintiely fels like a muscle pulling or stretching. Anyway, I don't like that black stuff even if it is teeny and just pinpoints. My other thought on that is that maybe I nicked myself when I put the applicator for the progesterone up there - a couple of times it felt a wee bit sharp when I touched the end where the tab had been ripped off. Okay! enough obsessing - off to eat! And yeah, COda - even though I have bouts of naseua and no appetite, when I feel better I often want to just shovel the food in. Ha, ha! But not always. Besides, I can't eat fast anymore. It took me 40 minutes one night to eat a bowl of pasta because I kept resting between bites. ha, ha!

Oh, Daniella!! That is sooooo exciting! - Congratulations - can't wait to hear from you and all your news! Helene - glad that dr. said you were OK - god, that must just have made you soooo anxious. I bet you're right, though, you're body is just growing. I'm fine - thanks. I haven't been around much because I had to drive up to CT to take care of my mom who had sudden surgery on Wed. Not a big deal, but I'm glad I went - she really needed me there. I've been charting like mad using TCOYF and of course, I think I missed my fertility window, damn it. I drove back here yesterday like a bat out of Hell and practically threw DH down on the bed - b/c you never know, but my intuition + charting tells me we missed it by a matter of hours. I noticed a temp rise this morning - but not too high. I'm interested to see how this plays out because I've been wondering if I have a progesterone issue. I know I said I'd see the dr. but I cancelled my appt. feeling like I was being too overzealous aobut the whole thing. Think I'd rather go in with at least one chart, if not two, so I have a good handle on what's up with my own body. Also, I'm still seeing almost no EWCM which really concerns me. There was a little bit right at the opening of the cervix, but not much else. Has anyone else had this issue or know anything about it? The book makes it sound as if you can't get pg without it . I really am finding this book a fascinating read. Who knew there was so much to know about your own body? Amazing. Christie - good luck with your wait - you must be chewing your nails off. Let us know how the hormone monitoring goes, too. Nanabon- I'm so glad all is well with you. :) Hi, Dawn! How's it going? When do you test? Take good care, all. ab

HELENE -- I am so glad to hear that all is fine with you and baby. That has to be scary but now you can rest easy again. Well, as much as you can when you are pregnant. Seems everyday will be a new feeling, sensation and question right? ALLIEB and BEE, today is CD31. The day I was expecting to get a/f or take a HPT. So far neither have happened. I took my temp this morning and it dropped considerably. Plus last night I was feeling like a/f would be here SO I did not take my HPT this morning. But so far, no sign of a/f so I am confused. I decided to give it the day and see if a/f starts, if nothing then I will plan to test tomorrow morning. I was having a hard time breathing thru my nose this morning and had to open my mouth a couple of times. I guess that could account for the drop in temp. We will see. One more day of waiting, I can handle it. I have demonstrated much patience this month. Pretty proud of myself actually :-) Ha Ha. ALLIEB - are you finding a good patten in your temps? I did not check the Cervical fluid this time around - figure I will this month if I do get a/f here soon. Dawn

Brocknkatiesmom - May 8th, 2006 10:57 AM

Daniella-Big Congrats to you!! Hope you are resting and enjoying your new baby boy. Dawn-My fingers are crossed for you. I hope you get a BFP tomorrow. Keep us posted. Things have been busy here. DH and i have not been gettign along well. So we will see how this month goes. I should be ovulating on Wednesday. I need to get to the store and get more OPK's today. Bee- I hope you don't have to wait much longer. I know the last month seems to drag by. Coda-it doesn't seem possible that you are this far along. Where does the time go. Hope everyone is doing well.

LeraeAllyn - May 8th, 2006 11:10 AM

B&K's MOM - Good to hear from you. Sorry to hear you and DH are not getting along the best. We all go thru those spells.....Thanks for the well wishes too. I sure hope to be getting a BFP tomorrow and nowt A/F today. But I am prepared either way. If I am getting a/f I should get it today -- today is 14 days past my +OPK and I actually had two days when I have a + OPK. Today is 14 days past the 2nd + test .... I have not gone longer then 14 days in the last four cycles to get a/f. It is hard to believe that Coda is as far along as she is already. Time does fly though. Dawn

LeraeAllyn - May 8th, 2006 11:38 AM

OK ladies - I am giving you all the play by play. 10:40am and still no a/f. But, I do have the sensation of having bleeding or discharge. Very strange.....Did any of you have this in the early stages? I have one friend that said she did notice an increase in cm at this time. Dawn

Tara S - May 8th, 2006 12:19 PM

LeraeAllyn, Wow Im waiting for af as well or by chance a bfp. Im a little nervous. Doctor is going to phone me today with results to bloodtest I took a week ago to see if Im ovulating. Well Im praying for positives for all of that are trying!!

Tara S - May 8th, 2006 1:56 PM

Well ladies I took a hpt and it was Positive! Im still a little scared, because of my two losses last year , but its a chance I have to take. This baby was concieved around Treya's due date, it doesent replace my sweet little girl , but its another baby to love no matter what.Dawn , lots of prayers for you and a bfp.

LeraeAllyn - May 8th, 2006 2:08 PM

TARA - Here we are in the "Waiting Club" enough to drive ya crazy isn't it? I am feeling more crampy as the day goes on and saw a twinge of pink on the tp during my last visit to the bathroom. My guess is a/f is on her way. Will come just in time to make working out after work unbearable .... Good luck to you on your wait. I just started charting in hopes of determining if I am actually ovulaing. No DR. intervention on that yet. I think I am but the timing has just been off a little bit. At least I hope that is the case. Keep us posted - Dawn

LeraeAllyn - May 8th, 2006 2:24 PM

TARA - Congrats on the BFP. I hit refresh and there is your post - WOW! That is great news. I guess you are ovulating :-) Wish I could be posting the same thing but as I mentioned, I suspect a/f is on her way now :-( Dawn

Tara S - May 8th, 2006 3:39 PM

Dawn, it was kindof funny, i was waiting for my doctor to phone and I was getting so impatient that I quickly ran to the store to buy a hpt and when I got back I had a message from the doctor saying I ovulated and then I decided to try the test and at first it looked negative and then I seen the line getting a little darker . It was still only a very slight line, but it was there. I have to get blood work to confirm pregnancy and then an ultrasound at 7 weeks and a nucleal scan at 12weeks because our last baby died of Turners Syndrome. Im really happy, but very scared!! I wouldent worry about the pink yet. I had that with my first pregnancy they say it could be implantation bleeding. Im really praying for a bfp for you too, all of us ladies really deserve healthy babies.

LeraeAllyn - May 8th, 2006 3:47 PM

TARA - That is funny :-) Congrats again. I will have to look up Turners as I am not very familiar with what that is. So sad though and good that you already have plans to watch this next pregnancy very closely. I am pretty much set that a/f is here -- although I have not had any serious flow as of yet. Nothing is making it to my pad. I just feel crampy and bloated. I called my neighbor and she started hers today too - we are going to commiserate together at the gym tonight. Dawn

Tara S - May 8th, 2006 6:45 PM

Dawn thanks,Turners is when the baby is missing an X chromosome. That is one of the sex chromosomes(99% of babies die before birth ), its rare and dosent run in your genes, but they are offering me all the testing anyways. I am offered an amnio at 12 weeks or 16 weeks, but I wouldent do it anyway I couldent take the risk of miscarrying, so I will get an 3D ultrasound instead. I lost two pregnancies last year my first was at 12weeks and second I was induced into labour due to risk to my life from her complications at 18 weeks 5 days. She had (Turners)cystic hygroma and her little body was really swelling , some of the fluid was in the placenta and entering into my blood stream and making it dangerous for me. I delivered Treya on November 26 2005 and she passed during the delivery, but she may have only lived a few more weeks in me, she was really struggling. Its been hard, I loved her so much and just wish she could be here with me. Im honestly really scared of being pregnant again. This day has been crazy, I phoned doctors office and they had me come in this afternoon for blood test to check hcg levels , I go in again on Wednesday.Lots of prayers!

allieb - May 8th, 2006 7:07 PM

Dawn - temps are average, I guess, but I know I've ovulated and they aren't rising all that much - 97.3/4 up to 97.7. If they stay that low then my hypothesis about progesterone might just be correct ( and I will feel very proud of myself for sleuthing that out!). I may make an appt. with my OB to start testing at the end of this cycle also - if this trend holds. It's only been two days since, so I'm going to wait a bit longer. The reason I know I ovulated is that I was checking my cervix -ew. I know. But really interesting too. TARA - congratulations on the BFP! I am crossing my fingers for you and praying everything goes perfectly for you and your little one. Dawn- hang in there, Sister. There's another cycle coming down the pike! Hey, I really recommend checking your cervical position. It was sooo obvious to me when I was ovulating and my OPK was postive just beforehand and continued to be positive until a day after I ovulated - Three days. (not a big window for us AMA's ) :-) You'll probably have a longer window than me and then you can really get down to biz. Hope you had a good work out!
