hi everyone, hi coda, no i dont know wot caused it, i feel as if they have just left me to get on wiv it, docs said come back if you are in severe pain, or you have to change your pad 4 times in an hour, yes im going to try again, any thoughts on how long i should leave it b4 we start to try again, as im unsure how long to leave it, thanks sara

Daniella - May 17th, 2006 10:27 AM

bjovs- how far along were you? Man, 4 pads in an hour is a heck of a lot. After I gave birth they said if I fill more then a pad an hour is bad... couldn't imagine 4 in an hour. Anyhow... what all did you get done?? HCG testing?? ultrasounds?? etc.

LeraeAllyn - May 17th, 2006 10:31 AM

DANIELLA -- I understand your dilema. But seeing as your husband will be gone for three months straight and is leaving pretty soon, you have some time to NOT worry about birth control. I would not want two babies back to back but it sure can happen so be careful. My neighbor who lost a baby in Nov and her sister are only like 10 months apart so you know it can happen even when you breastfeed. I say do your scope and start taking your temp when you get into a better sleep schedule. Your waking temp needs to be taken after three consecutive hours of sleep and my guess is you are not getting that at the moment. The book Helene recommended is very helpful. The method can be used to TTC or NOT. Did you catch my comment in an earlier post about how I would have had my baby this month if not for the m/c and how neat it would be to conceive again this month? I am so hopeful -- Dawn

LeraeAllyn - May 17th, 2006 10:36 AM

SARA -- The debate of when to TTC again has been discussed at length in this forum. I think what we all have said is that you have to wait until you are ready emotionally and that most likely your body will not conceive unless it is ready. I think it would be good to wait until you have at least one normal cycle after your miscarriage is complete. It could take a while but it will be worth it. I started trying on my 2nd cycle and am into my 6th now - each one has gotten better and more normal which makes me believe that my body is now more ready then ever to conceive again. I wish you luck and hope you and I both can join the other ladies that have been successful here. Dawn

Daniella - May 17th, 2006 10:53 AM

Dawn- yea, I read that. I sure hope its a successful month as well! I am keeping my fingers crossed for you and the rest TTC. My hubby leaves in a few weeks. It will be 5 weeks after the birth of our son that he leaves. I really plan to have sex before he leaves. LOL.. but, that all depends on my body. Its been 2 weeks and its getting better, but still a bit sore. So, I hope it is before he leaves seeing that I am going to have to wait 3 months (well, kinda.. he will be back for about 3 days around the 4th of July....) Anyhow... the same goes with delivery as mc... when your body is ready it will.. I am not afraid of hurting a pregnancy if it happens again so soon or anything like that. I am just in dire need of my own body back to myself. Not to be selfish, I love my son and thankful of being able to conceive and go full term with him after my losses, but I need some time. In fact, I said after he was born that there is no way I could do this again. LOL... but, its starting to get better. It probably wouldn't be as bad if my stitches from my 1st degree tear didn't pop open. They gave me percacet and vicodine for the pain, just to give show you how bad the pain was (I would say, is, but its starting to get better). My mom said to me 2 days ago, "you know, if you and JOhn had sex last night (I guess we were kinda loud making out, lol) you are now pregnant" I said, "God no!!" There is no way we could have sex now, much less hope n' we could even before he leaves in a few weeks. Can't believe my mother said taht one. lol

LeraeAllyn - May 17th, 2006 11:01 AM

DANIELLA - Thanks for crossing your fingers for me and all the other ladies as well. I am ready and want this more then ever right now. That is funny what your mom said - ha ha - even if you did have sex last night, I think it would be a stretch to say that you are pregnant right now. With any luck you will be healed and able to fulfill your craving before he leaves and after your parents leave since it seems you can not even make out without it being heard -- ha ha "-) Dawn

Daniella - May 17th, 2006 11:27 AM

LMAO

LeraeAllyn - May 17th, 2006 11:37 AM

HA HA HA -- Well for real. You do not want your first time back in the saddle to be when someone is outside your door hearing it all happen - especially your mom - "-) Dawn

Daniella - May 17th, 2006 12:46 PM

All we were doing is kissing and laughing in bed while they watched him downstairs for the night. It is almost 2am here and still haven't had any sleep. As I am typing this, the little one just started crying. I nursed him for about an hour. He is growing fast.

LeraeAllyn - May 17th, 2006 2:27 PM

Hey Daniella - Oh I believe you :-) Still think it is funny what your mom said...Ha Ha! So it sounds like baby is eating well, you say he is growing allot already in these two weeks? How fun ..... I can not wait. This work week is taking forever. Especially now that I am anxiously awaiting the delivery of my new furniture on Friday. Just found out the delivery window is from 11am-1pm - I get to get out of work for a couple hours to be home for that - yeah :-) Dawn

Daniella - May 17th, 2006 4:22 PM

Dawn- thats funny because my father and I are going to pick up the baby crib and changing table today between 10-12. (its 5am now)... The furniture finally arrived in Japan and is at the warehouse. So, can't wait!!! We've been using the pack n' play and basinet since he's been home. Which is fine, because he is so little, but it will be nice to finally have his room complete. :) So, good luck with your furniture as well!! Send me some pics of it after you get the room together. hehe

nicole nelson - May 17th, 2006 5:07 PM

Dawn good luck. Daniella glad to hear you and the babe are doing good. Happy Late Birthaday Coda. Good day to all.

LeraeAllyn - May 18th, 2006 9:02 AM

DANIELLA - So exciting you are finally getting that crib and changing table :-) Let me know how that room turns out. I am not sure how soon I will have actual photos of my new livingroom to send so I emailed you the link to check out the furniture pieces we ordered. I can not wait. CODA - Sorry to hear about your night. I imagine a change in your vitamins could cause that. SOME prenatals have a mild stool softener in them since I guess you can get pretty bound up later in pregnancy. Maybe your new one has it and your old one did not. Check that out -- or maybe you have a bug. You were saying how your tummy was not feeling right and you thought you had an infection. Maybe it is just a stomach flu or something. Hang in there :-( Oh and about the BD'ing - I plan to start attacking my Troy as soon as I start seeing the fertile cf. Today it is the creamy/lotiony stuff so not quite there yet. I think this weekend and until next week Wednesday or thursday there will be lots of BD going on :-) Woo Hoo.... Dawn

Tara S - May 18th, 2006 9:56 PM

Hi ladies, Dawn, good luck this month. Coda,I hope you feel better soon.Daniella, thats nice that your parents are visiting. Being a mom is a 24/7 job I was shocked when I had my first how much work it was. I thought babies were supposed to sleep a lot , well my two never. Its tough, but also very rewarding. My ultrasound is booked on June 1, Ill be 7 weeks 3 days by then. I have had a lot of creamy mucus. You think after 5 pregnancies I would know if its normal. Anyway, Im feeling very tired, sore breasts that come and go, but no nausea. Its terrible when you actually wish you had nausea, just so you know the pregnancy is progressing.

Hi Ladies~ Glad to hear all is well, Daniella sleep when your baby sleeps! Tara~Good luck with the u/s, keep the anxiety low and trying to BREATHE! This whole process can be sooo nervewracking! Coda~Happy Belated Birthday, I hope your tummy feels better! Well, Just got AF last night and have to go into specialist tomorrow for hormone workup that they do when you have AF to make sure all hormones are in check. Then next Friday need to go in for Saline u/s to check the shape and lining of my uterus. ALL that bloodwork that I had done on the 11th is back, but haven't heard anything from the doc, I guess that is a good thing. I am hoping they will mention something tomorrow when I go for blood because I would like to start ttc again. But, want to make sure there is nothing obvious that is wrong before we do. I think I made up my mind that I would like to be preggers again by my next due date, which was August 5th. Wishful thinking, huh? Hi and hugs to All....
