Hello all.....HELENE- glad to hear that all is going well with you still TARA- I hope that all turns out well for you, I'm sure we all understand your fears!! CODA- girl take it easy....lol DANIELLA- congratulations on your little boy, he's so handsome... ALLIE- I'm sure you'll be fine, stressing out isn't going to help any, although we've all done it!!
Things here are going well....I'm at 14 wks today and doing fine. My hubby and I took our daughter out camping this weekend. Honestly I'm not much of an outdoorsy type, but dh is so I decided I could stomach the hiking and the possibility of those things with no legs, (not fish)!!! EWWW....Our daughter had a great time swimming in the river, although I am completely exhausted now!! Hope all goes well for everyone and hope you all had a wonderful memorial day. Shauna

Bleeding has stopped, praying it doesent return. Had an awful night of cramping, even had a shower to help relieve back cramps. Everytime I went to the bathroom I was expecting to see blood, but nothing came. Discharge is now more yellow and no pink. No cramping this morning, I actually feel good which also worries me. Wishing I had extreme nausea and really sore breasts so I would know everything is ok. i guess I just can't win! Im hoping baby made it through sll those cramps last nite.

Goodmorning Ladies - Lots of activity on here over the weekend. Allie, Daniella and Helene, glad you got a kick out of my ceiling fan story :-) It is pretty funny and I think we are keeping them up there until we know if this month was lucky for us. ALLIE and HELENE - My temps have been a little strange this month. Well, maybe not strange but I seem to be running hotter then last month for the whole time. From CD1 to the day before I got the LH Surge my temps ranged between 97.3 and 97.9. On CD18 when I got the LH Surge it was 97.7 and now the last five days since the surge they have been 98.2, 98, 97.9, 97.9 and 98.2 -- does not seem that high. I guess I wait, hope and see. With the LH Surge on 5/25 CD18 then I should get a/f by 6/9. Cross your fingers for me. TARA - Sorry to hear that you have has some spotting causing you worry. I agree with the others that replied that you should not worry too much yet. My last doctor told me any number of things could cause spotting during pregnancy. Anything from a bowel movement, sex, strenuous exercise etc. etc. I know you are questioning your symptoms but comparing to other pregnancies is not a sure way to judge. What I have heard is how every pregnancy and the sypmtoms can be completely different. Relish the fact that you are not puking :-) Hang in there - you are in my thoughts. Dawn

I wish Id tried harder to log in or at least pestered my internet provider it is so slow that it times out all the time or errors come up with stupid meaningless number codes.

Bee99 - May 30th, 2006 8:22 PM

Its feast or famine with me I hit the submit with finishing....I wish I had tried harder so sorry for your concern and thank you also. Glad to hear all is well hope some good news comes for Dawn soon.

Daniella - May 30th, 2006 8:32 PM

Bee- Congrats!! That is so good to hear! I am glad all is fine. You gotta tell your labor story. :) Did you read mine?? So, you gave birth on the 23rd, eh!? What was the original due date?? My boy weighed 7lbs. 8oz. so, yours was about the same weight. How cool!! Mine was only 19 3/4 in. long though. Funny cuz everyone says he is so long, yet he's not even 20in. I think they didn't really measure his length correctly cuz when he stretches out, he is very long. lol.. Anyhow, I am so glad to hear that everything is great with you and baby. Cant wait to hear how it all went. :) If you don't have it, you can check mine (and pics) on my journal at: www.babycrowd.com/jr/online/daniella/

I was due on 19th was having contractions 30mins apart Tues.16th and lost plug DH rang work and said yep this is it I wont be in (he was able to start his hols any day) well they went all day and fizzeled out) babt wasnt moving enough for my liking so I went to hospital where they put me on a moniter...babe was fine went home. DH rang work said Ill be in tomorrow they said all work was cauncled just start hols anyway..oh joy..so kept stating and stopping contraction for next three days had what I thought was fluid went to hospital to get it tested and they decided to put me on moniter again (she was just learning and was very unsure of herself) So the head walks in and was a total b#%ch to her and us sent us home (fair enough) but didnt have to be awlful to the learner I didnt want to get her when I finally did go into labour but if I was so unlucky I planned tp line her up!!lol..for the good of those who work with her. So...finally the following monday at 11pm I got up and layed on kids couch onfloor felt a funny pop and went to toilet then I had a small gush of fluid followed by a constant trickle that seemed to go forever I was yelling a loud whisper to wake DH but not kids(didnt work) it stopped and I went to DH its time lucky there was a towl at my feet cos I got another gush I shoved the towel in my crouch and made a dash back to the toilet to hear the souds of laughter from behind..called hospital went in at 12 45 went through contractions getting closer had gas and pethadene which spun me out big time I had no time to be candid like I did or thought I was as contrations had no gap Erin was born at 4:26am..didnt see nasty midwife at all had great midwifes and a trainee they are the best had them twice b4. Got out hospital Thusday. Its hard to see how much Iv raveled on so hope its not too long for you.

allieb - May 30th, 2006 9:19 PM

Dawn,Daniella, Tara, Nanabon - thanks so much for your words. They are really a comfort. I am up and down every day. Today I was SURE that everything was FINE but now it's 9pm and I'm wondering why I'm not falling asleep tired. Aren't I supposed to be exhausted?. OK, I'm tired, but I got up at 5am so I SHOULD be tired. But I should be more tired. I keep trying to keep this mentality that either it'll happen or it won't, but man is that hard. Bee - many congrats on your baby girl - how wonderful! I'm looking forward to reading your story if you'll share. DAWN - I could not win with the temp thing. EVERY morning it would get messed up somehow - the cats would wake me up at 4;30 - too early to take it but then not enough time to get hte requisite three hours of sleep before 6am when I get up. Other times dh would have set the radio alarm so loud (he sleeps with earplugs) that I would be like that cat on Bugs bunny who always ended up hanging from the ceiling by his claws. I agree that the temp diff. isn't big - but there is still a trend, isn't there? Can you get back to the book and double check? I'd check for you but I just loaned it out to a friend just this morning (figures). Tara - great news. I'm hoping you continue on the same track - no more spotting. TAke care of yourself. Hey Nanabon - good for you! You trekker! I would about give my right arm for a few days in the quiet countryside now. OK, I really do have to hit the hay, friends. TAke care and thanks again for the support. AB

no they never tested my fluid because i have a urinary track infection waiting on my results to see if its kidney or a bladder infection well know i know why i have felt yukk lol. i am a bit mad because the doc i went to see when i lost a bit of plug thing did a urine test and said i had white blood cells in it which indicates an infection but he was to busy to do an internal mind so the nurse sent me home. so this time when they dip sticked it the indicator for white blood cells was sooo dark she said to me that the worse case is that i will go into pre term labour !! i dont think i will but just mad that i have had it for weeks.. i get my blood results next tuse to see if i have pre aclampsyer lmao (i know i dont) well i bloody well hope i dont !! just soo mad today! also been thinking well i am rheses - and if for some reason my blood has mixed with babys and its a + baby then my body would treat the baby like an infection and produce white blood cells okays now i am just being crazy right?? i have never had a UTI in my life . oh congrats on the little girl bee well done u xx not long now down till u find out thats sooo exciting

Daniella - May 30th, 2006 11:55 PM

Coda- Dont you know your blood type? You can't just develop Rh -. That is something your born with and should know. I hardly doubt that would cause your problem, but if you do have an infection (especially if its that bad) then you may already start dilated which would cause the plug stuff to come early. Which is horrible at just going on 3rd trimester. Baby cant survive outside the woomb just yet. Gotta hand in there. In fact, I would prolly ask the dr. to do an internal exam to make sure your cervix isn't open and to see how much effaced you are, etc. AND also to test your fluid on indication paper to rule out amnio fluid. You never know. Like I said, if its an infection, this all can happen very early which isn't good. I'm sorry you had to deal with the crap dr. then. I hope you get to the bottom of things. This baby is a little miracle and dont want anything bad to happen.

Daniella - May 31st, 2006 12:01 AM

Wow Bee... your labor was only 4 hours?? My water also broke. YOu know they say that its a very low % of your water breaking before you go into labor, but so many woman I hear (including myself) had their water break at home. I had my membranes stripped on Tuesday and on Thursday morning I felt a little trickle walking down the stairs and thought it was just more of that mucus crap or something from getting the membranes stripped. That was like 6am or something. Well, I never had it bad to fill a pad, much less need a towel so I didn't think it was that. FInally after taking my night shower, I said.. gosh, this cant be mucus stuff and its only getting worse. So, I went in and once I got to the hospital and went to the bathroom more of a gush came pouring out into the toilet. Sounded like I was peeing, but I wasn't. LOL... Got into the room so they can test it and the indication paper turned bright blue the second it touched it. I was in denial the whole day saying this can't be amnio fluid. My hubby kept saying he knows it is. lol... It finally hit me that we are having a baby when after the test came back pos. when the nurse and dr. said, "you aren't going home pregnant this time" I NEVER had ANY contractions. In fact they gave me a shot of pitocin to make me contract. One little dose and thats when it all started. I just needed a jump start. Took 12 hours after the shot of pitocin. I got to the hospital at 4cm. So, it took 12 hours to go 6 more cm. Gosh, I was tired.

coda - May 31st, 2006 12:07 AM

i am o rheses - i dont know what the baby is thou if its - like me then it wont matter. i go to the hypertention clinic on the 6th of june next week so i will ask him to do an internal i read some were that they dont like to do them if u do have an infection incase it spreads i hope to god that it has not affected my cervix or the baby she seems fine kicks away i am just doing as little as possible till next week i am hoping i get my letter to take to my doctor soon so i can get my anti biotics and get it sorted . i might just go to my doctor on sat regardless i have too much to do with my appt with the immagration department on fri

Daniella - May 31st, 2006 12:18 AM

Coda- if you are 0- and your hubby is +, then most likely the baby is + also, but I dont see that causing white blood cells in your urine. That is usually due to an infection. Also... if you have sex still then and internal exam is no worse. Just make sure the gloves the dr. puts on is from a sterile package and not just from the box. Also, they can tell if your cervix has opened by an ultrasound if they opt to give you one to check on things. Can you check your own cervix to see if its open??

coda - May 31st, 2006 12:25 AM

how do i do that??

Daniella - May 31st, 2006 12:35 AM

Have you ever felt your cervix before?? If you never felt your own cervix before then trying to do it now, my not work. Not that you cant still find it now, but you wont have anything to compare it to. When is your next dr. appt.? You should just ask them to take a look to see whats going on. If your cervix is already dilating now at only 25 weeks or so, then they may have to keep a close eye on you to make sure you dont go into preterm labor. Real early.
