Ha ha - I did not even bother to try to get caught up on this forum. It is just HUGE these days!! Oooh! cd 31 - that sure looks positive! You must be excited.

cbella - June 7th, 2006 5:21 PM

Hello again! It's been a while since I first posted, but I have been reading this entire thread, trying to catch up and make sense of everyone's situations. It's hard to remember what's going on with who without putting faces to names! Helene - I see you are a cheer coach and a teacher too? I am as well! I teach kindergarten (though I'll probably be moved to 1st or 2nd next year) and I am the asst. coach for the the HS cheerleaders. I hear you about the no A/C thing in schools up north (I'm in Ohio). It was great to read two labor stories...very encouraging Daniella and Bee! Melissa - I had surgery 4/9 for an EP and my first af came exactly 5 wks later and was normal. Now I am on CD 24 and no sign of o and I am really confused. I can imagine you are even more so after having 2 regular cycles! What would cause o to not occur normally after it did once or twice?

MelissaK - June 7th, 2006 5:21 PM

Oh yes, and no other symptons, no tender chest (when does that happen anyway? Right away?). Just nausea and lack of any sort flow, in fact it has completely stopped now, maybe a spot this morning but it is over. So 2 days of very light spots. One spot was dark red but most were pink (TMI sorry! but you have to share this datil!) . So I would even venture to call it a missed period maybe. But I feel slightly crampy. I feel really really REALLY tired today, all of a sudden. Normally I am pretty peppy, today I am just dragging.

cbella - June 7th, 2006 5:23 PM

Oh sorry Melissa--I reread your post and you obviously o'd. I guess we're not in the same situation! I need to work on my comprehension skills!!! I hope all turns out well with you though!

MelissaK - June 7th, 2006 7:02 PM

Well BFN - not that I did not expect that. I'm relieved though. So.... I guess... I just had a really light period. We'll see what happens next month but I think I will start watching to see when I O, if that is happening, before calling a doc. I'll just assume I did O this last cycle and now it is cd3.

Daniella - June 7th, 2006 10:46 PM

Its pretty common to have a couple regular cycles and then a weird one here or there, -especially- after surgery, birth, m/c, etc. with the uterus. Its also common to miss an ovulation a month here or there.. just hopefully not too many months when TTC. Anyhow, sure hope all gets straightened out so you can get preggo when your ready. :) __Dawn- I am keeping my fingers crossed for you. Have you had any spotting or anything like that yet? When you going to test>? __Cbella- how are you tracking ovulation?? Could it be possible you did but just haven't had any signs of it??

LeraeAllyn - June 8th, 2006 8:55 AM

DANIELLA - Today is CD32. I woke up at 3am this morning and had to pee. Took my temp at 6am and it was 98.12 so still up there. A/F had not started this morning so I took my Answer Early Result HPT and got a BFN. I am feeling slightly crampy - only slightly and have had no signs of spotting as of yet. I am wearing a pad today just in case. Today is 14 days past the LH Surge I got on CD18. BUT sometimes I have had two consecutive days with + OPK strips and I would get a/f 14 days after the 2nd + strip. This past month I only had 5 strips left from my old pack and did not use one after I saw the surge on CD18. So, it might have shown + on CD19 had I tested for it and if that is the case I would expect a/f tomorrow instead of today. I would think that a HPT that detects 25 mIU would detect it by now if I am pregnant but maybe not. Maybe I just have very low numbers in the very beginning. That is possible right? I am trying to be positive here but I am just waiting to make a trip to the bathroom and see red. I knew I should not have tested today - I get so bummed out seeing a negative test. UGH!!!! Dawn

LeraeAllyn - June 8th, 2006 8:58 AM

Oh and about me feeling crampy. When I was pregnant the first time I felt like that for a long time - like I could get my period at any moment but then I was pregnant so who knows. I guess I wait and see. Feeling like an ass for taking that test this morning. Curiosity kills hope I guess. At least for me today it did. Dawn

Lavender - June 8th, 2006 12:03 PM

Has anyone here had any experience with the Pre-Seed Lubricant? I just bought some online w/ op strips for my upcoming ttc event starting at the end of june--L

LeraeAllyn - June 8th, 2006 12:17 PM

LAVENDAR - I have not used pre-seed myself but I know it has been discussed on this forum in the past. From what I know, it is always best to not use any artificial lubricants while ttc. They slow down the sperm.....If you are really in your fertile time you should have plenty of fertile cervical fluid to keep things going smoothly. Unless you are someone that does not produce much. From what I have heard I would suggest trying to go without it if you can. Dawn

Lavender - June 8th, 2006 12:23 PM

Lerae--I will probably have to wait and see when I think it's my fertile time how my cm is. I haven't noticed whole lot this cycle--when I look back on past cycles, I don't remember having a lot then either. I often have lubrication issues when intimate with dh and we have been using KY liquid (TMI)! But I heard that Pre-Seed would be better if I HAD to use something. I would imagine using the Pre-Seed would be better than not having adequate cm, right? I am new to all of this--there is so much for me to learn and it so different for everyone!!!--L

MelissaK - June 8th, 2006 1:26 PM

Lavender - We used Pre Seed last time we were pregnant. It is usually advised by fertility specialists to provide a help. I found it to be a HUGE help to keep the DH on track - something they get sort of sick of when ttc. I plan to use it next time we start ttc. No time to waste!

Lavender - June 8th, 2006 1:37 PM

That's good to hear Melissa!

LeraeAllyn - June 8th, 2006 1:40 PM

LAVENDAR - You are correct, something is better then nothing that is for sure. Also, never worry about putting TMI on here. That is what it is all about. That is how we learn. See what others have to say about the product. Like I said, I have not used it myself and it is probably better then KY. There sure is allot to learn isn't there? I am so much more knowledgeable since I starting posting on here back in October. Soon I hope all of us are sharing pregnancy stories. Dawn
PS-Daniella and whoever else is interested, I have not had any spotting yet today. Crossing my fingers that I am feeling crampy cuz I am PG and this is like the last time.

cbella - June 8th, 2006 5:09 PM

Larae-I agree with you on the fact thet I've learned SO MUCH from this forum! A friend asked me if I think I know too much, and yes, maybe I feel that way sometimes but I'd rather know and prepare or act with knowledge than not know at all!! Daniella-I use the method from Toni Wieschler's (sp?) book Taking Charge of your Fertility. I chart my temps and cm, but I can't get the hang of cp. I've also been plugging this info into fertility friend, and I'd make my chart available to you if I knew how! (I honestly have never tried to figure that out) This month has just been so weird. My temp did go up today, but ff didn't find that too interesting :) Thanks for the tidbit about keeping hubby interested Melissa. I'm interested to find out how my dh will react to ttc after a while (hopefully it won't take too long though!) I'll keep your advice in the back of my mind In case it comes in handy!

Daniella - June 9th, 2006 12:09 AM

Dawn- hubby and I had sex one night during the time I got pregnant... exactly 13 days after that night my HCG was 134. You ovulate for 2 days... I believe that we conceived on the 2nd day of ovulation... Anyhow, so yea.. 13 days after conception my HCG was 134. That same day right before I got my blood drawn I took an HPT that detect at 20. It came back so light I almost threw it out until right when I was about tossing it in the trash I noticed a few pink specs where the second line would be... I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me but then I realized that as light as it is, its there. ANYHOW... so, I thought my HCG was probably at 25 and hubby thought it would be 50, so it was a huge surprise when the lab came back at 134. __Lavendar- the funny thing is dh and I always used lube and we ran out here in Japan since we would buy it in the states and had to go without.... just needed to have hubby work me up more before jumping into things, lol (sorry TMI) and thats when I got pregnant. I don't think it was a coincidence either because the few times we were lucky was when we ran out. The littlest things can make such a difference.. YET, if there is no way to do without then yea.. its best to use lube that works with sperm and not against. So, good luck with that!!! __Cbella- Oh, ok... are you using any OPK's as well?? The scope worked the best for me seeing that I'm military and never wake up at the same time every morning to do the temps and the surge strips was confussing and would show ovulation too late, etc.. but the scope gave me like a 3 day window and never failed me.. but, some didn't do well with the scope, so its all what works for you. Lets hope it wont matter here soon and you don't have to worry about tracking it anymore. hehe. :) ___Coda- How you doing girl?? I sure hope your taking it easy. If I didn't just give birth, I'd go down under to visit you and make sure all is well. :) ___Helene- hows the nausea pills working for ya?? __MelissaK- your doctor didn't give you birth control right after the surgery to make sure there isn't any possible way to have implantion occur in the uterus?? Sure dont want to hurt that healing uterus anymore right now.. gotta get it in great standards for when everything is all healed and can hold a pregnancy to term. :) Bet your pretty excited that everything is done and now its only around the corner to try. :)
