Hey ladies ! Justa quick mnessage as I got home late because of my appt and then was on the phone withthe folks (finally told my dad tonight!). MY appt went well -they just id a "belly exam" no internal (I am finw ith that as I am sick of peopel stikcing their hands up crotch already! sorry - I am just tired!). ANywya, he did an u/s in the office, and since it was not a transvaginal, and Ididn't have a full bladder, couldn't se details. But he showed me that the baby was there and moving and there was a heartbeat flickering so he was confident taht all was fine. He sia dthey don't due another big u/s until 19 weeks hen they did the big one that Coda justhad,so dh wilcome then. But he told me that I cna come in whenever I want and they will do the in office u/s like he just did if I am at all worried. Thta made me happy. He said keep takign the supements until 5/15 and he wil see me next month. SO that is my big news. I will post again on Saturday. Yep it is the big 38, Dawn - no plans- we usually do dinner but not sure what I will be feeling like so not plannign ahead. Tansy - I think Dawn & Bee are right - if you want them to chekc the hcg ask the doc if he will refer you. All he can do is say no. Melissa - ARe you at the reevaluation point yet? Everyone else- hi, I will let you know if Daniella e-mails me before Saturday - nothing in my inbox form her so far. OKay - speel check won't work so ignor all the typos.

Tansy - I can't remember whether you said you m/c naturally or had a D & C, but when I miscarried naturally on the 1st of the year, I had EWCM 9 days later. Damn shame we didn't bd either because that was the last time I saw any cm - NOT, of course, that you would have that prob. but just to say that I think one's body can fire back up pretty quickly after m/c - especially when it's taken care of itself. Sorry for the run-on. ;-). I've also heard the theory that Bee mentioned about being more fertile afterwards. Helene - If I don't get time to write - have a wonderful birthday on Sat. I guess 38 isn't THAT bad, now that I've been here for a while. Sorry about the m/s - I've read that if you know it's coming, be good to yourself and eat something that isn't too offensive coming back up. (Ew.) ; ) Hey Coda - I wonder if there are any pre-natal Yoga exercises that might help you increase strength and decrease sciatic pain? Yoga seems to have something in it for everyone- except my dh, of course. Ha. Dawn - loved your friend's dh story. My dh can be such a weiner sometimes, but he's so funny that I can never be mad at him for too long.

Hello ladies, Well i went to the doctor yesterday and got my autopsy results back from our daughter Treya. i brought up that hubby and I were trying again and I hadent been noticing any signs of ovulation. He's going to do a blood test on Monday. it has to be day 21 of my cycle to see if I ovulated this month.I told my doctor that i hate trying when i feel like I should have already had a baby by now . I wonder what he'll suggest if Im not ovulating. I havent had any cm for the last two months. Im going to try opks next month if I am ovulating and just missing it. i hate this waiting game Im too impatient!!Best wishes and prayers for positive pregnancy test for those that are trying.

TANSY - Isn't is a shame how our own bodies can be such a mystery at times. I am learning more and more each month. For example, off the pill my skin likes to break out right after I ovulate (or when I think I have ovulated) until after a/f starts. Such a lovely thing to happen when you are TTC. I actually went to the library and got the book Helene recommended. I only got into the first chapter last night but so far so good. I suspect it will clear up allot of confusion. I say you call your doctor and ask for the Beta HCG bloodwork. That should help shed some light on things for you. I really think that allot of responsibilty lies on the patient being knowledgeable, asking questions and requesting things. I know allot more and will handle my next pregnancy much more proactively after having my m/c and interacting and learning on this site. ALLIEB - I know, I am still chuckling inside about my neighbors story (ha ha) HELENE -- I hope you have a wonderful birthday. I will not be back online until Monday. Hopefully we have heard some news about Daniella by then. My guess is that baby boy is on the way or already here and she has not had even a moment to send a message about it. Dawn

Hey gals.... nope, no baby yet!! Just hubby and I spending lots of quality time together. We went to the zoo here. My fat pregnant ass wobbled around the whole thing, lol... I sure hope all the walking helps bring on labor. I have had some real strong contractions today. They seem to be getting stronger and closer. I don't want to say, "any time now" but, it looks that way. I think my body went into hybernation since hubby is here now and I don't have the stress of having him with hubby being away. ANyhow..... ___Tansy- did you accidently post again thinking this was a different site?? I had to re-read that a few times because I thought the page loaded half way as if that was your first time posting. Anyhow... I do believe that you may be on your way ovulating soon. Especially since your HCG has dropped, etc. My only advice in that is to bd, bd and do more bding... LOL.. have fun!! Try not to stress too much though. Just take it easy, relax and bd. hehe... ___Helene- That is great about the appt. Did hubby not make it?? Also, did they tell you what the hr was?? Kinda a bummer that they didn't do an transvag. scan to print you a pic. etc. Yet, your anatomy scan at about 19 weeks (should be your next scan!?) is just around the corner and will come up pretty fast. Are you planning on finding out the sex then?? Also, did you read my post asking if you read my other post about the book I told you about?? DANIELLA - No baby yet? Darnit, we have all been hoping that was the case. Keep on walking. I can not believe that little guy has not decided to come out yet. Sure seems like he was destined to come early with all the stuff you have had happening over the last month. How much longer is your DH here? Dawn

Hi everyone - glad to hear everyone is doing great. I just had my "clean bill of health" exam 5 weeks post surgery and have the A-OK to resume activity, exercise, etc. There is a problem with how the surgeon sewed up my fascia (layer above abdominal muscles) and now it's a problerm (cosmetic! It is sticking out like a shelf, looks like a bad hernia. It also hurts with tight clothes - like having a big blister). We're off to a plastic surgeon to consider if we have it repaired. I'm furious about it, it looks terrible. To resolve it is hopefully not a big deal but they'll have to re-open the incision and fix the layer of "fat" that's protruding. What a major drag. No TTC until July... so just enjoying all of the cocktails and things like that!

MELISSAK - That is great news about your follow up appt. So glad that the results of your surgery are so positive. Minus the shelf on your abdoman. What the heck was that surgeon thinking hugh? I hope that can be repaired without much problem. You would think they would fix it since they did such a crappy job at no cost to you. is that the case? Enjoy the cocktails and stuff. It is getting to be vodka lemonade season and I am going to miss my UV Blue Vodka. Other then that I do not mind skipping the alcohol at all. Dawn

Hi. I really don't know if I'm at the right place, but I'm just so sad, because it's been one month since I delivered my little baby Kira, who was only 5" long, and weighed 1.3. They said I couldn't just have a d&c because i was too far along. So they induced labor -- it was the most heart breaking experience of my whole life! When I delivered her, they discovered the cause of her death. The umbilical cord had wrapped around her neck four times. Who would have thought? I would have never imagined. Everything had been FINE. She was HEALTHY. We were so happy we made it past the first trimester. I know I was only 18 weeks, so although they don't consider her a "stillborn" I can never imagine her being classified as a miscarriage. I know I'll be starting my period soon, but all I do is take pregnancy tests and hope that maybe, perhaps, I'll be blessed & get pregnant. It's going to be so hard to go through my period. But now I know even after the first trimester I still have to worry. I never expected anything bad to happen since I made it through. I took an ovulation test a few weeks ago, and supposidly was ovulating, but I think the way I seem so PMSy, that I'lll be starting any time. Then part of me just wants to start, so I don't walk around like a maniac wondering all the time if I am pregnant. I know I probaby sound like a whacked person, it's just still so raw inside.

Daniella-sorry no baby yet but it sounds like it could be close. Af is due tomorrow/ I think I will test in the morning. We have a wedding to go to tomorrow and I don't want to take a chance and drink anything. I'm afraid that I'm not pg again this month. I am still having sore bb's and my face is broke out so bad. I think that I saw a slght bit on spotting on the tp yesterday. nothing today though. So I just keep praying that I might be pg but I'm not very hopeful. Dh is not being very supportive still. He has his priorities messed up and he needs to grow up. So that doesn't help matters any. Dawn- I hope that by some chance things worked out and you are pg this month. Coda and Helene-hang in there. I hope everyone has a great weekend. I will post when I test or get af tomorrow.

looks like af is on its way. Pink spotting on tp(sorry if tmi) I am just so frustrated. I never had any problems before getting pg. I lnow I am a getting older (I'll be 32 June 2nd)but didn't think it would cause any problems. Sorry to vent but I'm just really down. well I'm off to bed Brock wants to snuggle and I can't pass that up. He is starting to get to big for mom(he's 8) and I want to enjoy it while I can.

B&K'S MOM - So sorry to hear that a/f showed up. Do not give up yet....You are still so young and it will happen when the time is right. This just means you can woop it up tonight at that wedding. I think I would definitely need alcohol to get thru most wedding receptions :-) Keep us posted......I finally got myself a library card so I stopped in to get a couple movies and a computer was open. Thought I would check in. Wonder what is the latest with Daniella. To our new arrival - so very sorry for your losss. That is a horrible thing to go thru but you will get pregnant again. Hi! Was an uneventful birthday - we decided to postpone dinner to when I feel more confident eating out - I would rather be able to eat exactly what I want (well, not sushi, obviously!) and not worry that I will change my mind before it is served or may be chucking it up later. It is a beautiful weekend. Melissa - Congrats on the good news - sorry about your shelf. A friend of a friend had something odd like that and she had surgery finally and it was fine. KLKW - I am so sorry for your loss. Thta is the biggest slap in the face, because you feel somuch better getting past that first trimester. i can't imagine your pain. My friend was put on bed rest for the last two months of her pregnancy because her son wasn't gaining weight, which is not normal at that point. When he was finally born the doc said - WOW I have never seen this - the cord was wrapped twice arounf his neck. So if they had never seen that, I am sure thta your situation is even more rare. And if being wrapped twice caused him to stop gaining, I would imagine that four times would cut off all nutrition and oxygen. My friend said they told her there was no way to tell this from the scan - that they couldn't see it. I have another friend whose daughter had a textbook perfect pregnancy up until the delivery and the baby was stilborn - some very strange occurence where the amniotic fluid was all gone (they don't know how) and she had a bowel movement, and the baby died in utero. Awful -it is only supposed to happen if you go way past your due date, and she was exactly on time, so it was a shock. I guess what I am getting at is that there are no guarantees, and while most of the time things go well, you unfortunately got dealt one of the awful rare occurances that couldn't be prevented. I wish you well with healing and trying again. B&K - I am so sorry for you. All I can say is get looped and tell dh to drive home. And it may be time for him to see his own doctor just in case. You are still quite young, so don't worry.Dawn- I am not suprised you are looking at careerbuilder.com You haven't seemd happy at work for a while. Good luck with your 2 ww. Coda - tell us how your specialist visit went. I am having numbness and pain in my outer thighs at night sometimes, which is due to the herniated disc. The doc said the good news is it is nothing abnormal, the bad news is it will only get worse. Fun! How are our ladies in waiting - Daniella & Bee? Hopefully Daniella won't be waiting much longer. Goodmorning Ladies - Helene, sorry your birthday was uneventful. I agree about waiting to go out for a nice dinner until you can really enjoy it though. Nothing worse then not liking your food. I have a freind (with 4 kids) who never knew what she would be able to eat. Usually she would order and then not be able to stomach it - What a pain in the drain that would be. I guess it helps you keep your weight gain to a minimum but no thanks. Yep - I am waiting until a week from today, af should be here by then based on the OPK strips. I mentioned I got the book at the library right? Well I zipped thru it this weekend and brought it in today to photo copy the chart out of the back. Had to do that 1st thing here while no one was roaming around to see what the hell I was doing at the copier and what book I have. UGH! No one here knows about this at all. Well, one woman does and that is it but I have not been sharing anything new with her. I have been taking my temp and it has been higher but it did not jump above 98 until well after I think I ovulated so who knows. The book is excellen though. Had a few laughs reading it too.
