Period After D&C

i started miscarrying on 1st march. i had a D&C on 7th march. can anyone tell me when can i expect my periods...how shud i count days.....from the day my miscarriage started or from the day of D&C? it's almost 2weeks past D&C & i m exp. mild cramps & pink or brown spotting. is this normal? any suggestions/advice is appreciated.

I started to m/c on 3/4 and had a D&c the same day as you. You count from the day of your D&C although you can't really count because chances are you may not get your period as you normally would. Could take up to six weeks and I have heard even longer. I hae not had any spotting since 3 days after my D&C so I am hopeing to be on track. Are you counting because you are going to try and concieve right away? If so it would probably be a guessing game unless you know how to check your cm, even then it may not be fertile cm.
