My wife recently became pregnant after years of trying. Both home test and blood test from doctor came back positive six weeks ago. Yesterday, she had a very bad cramp that lasted a a couple minutes. No bleeding or any other negative signs since, but she took another home pregnancy test and the positive line came back very very faint, almost invisible. She has been drinking lots of water, so I dont know if this has something to do with the test results. Should we be worried about miscarriage?

Typically if your not bleeding or spotting, everything is usually fine. If you are concerned, you should call the Dr to make sure everything is alright. In regards to the home pregnancy test, it takes days, if not weeks, for hormone levels to return to normal after a miscarriage. So I wouldn't use it to gauge anything. Have your wife take it easy for the next few days and try to relax. All sorts of things are going on in her body that feel different than usual. Tendons and muscles are stretching and the gas pains are the worst! Make sure she is being good to herself - growing a person takes lots of work!
