I am experiencing the same thing> I did call the doctor but because when they did blood work on me my HCG level was only 5 they don't really confirm it as a pregnancy. I did take hpt and it came back negative. I had the blood work done because I had pregnancy symptoms for three weeks and I was pretty sure I was pregnant. I also had miscarried a few months before so the doctor asked to see me. I am very sad because this is my second mc in three months. I lost my other baby at 11 weeks back in November. I also have a son like you that turns 2 in March. He is my joy. You might never know if you were pregnant or if it was a period. I had that happened to me before my son was born and the doctor basically said there is no way to know for sure. I think if you have ever been pregnant your gut tells you if you were. I have to say having the HCG level tested and having it come back at 5 just made me morn my baby again. It was easier when I did not know that other time and just figure that it was a heavy period. If you are worried that you need to be checked out call your doctor. I am calling on MOnday again to see if they need to check me out.I have also heard of people who have bleed and still are pregnant. If you feel pregnant take a test.
