Anyone have any experience with this? This was the only abnormal result from my RPL screen. I'll be seeing the high risk clinic for my next pg.

Snickelfritz, thats kinda good news and bad news, Bad news you have PSD but good news because its completely treatable, If you fall pregnant again you will more than likely be given hepraine injections to take evryday, I have a protein C def. and I to take the injections, The first clot I took when I was 16 and it nearly killed me, I spent over 9 weeks in hospital having my fist child :(, I am also 'high risk pregnancy' I m/c at 18.5 weeks in June 05 I am now 15weeks pregnant again and I'm taking my injections and have had no major probs as yet, Protein deficiencies are very rare and its good you have at least been diagnosed and can be offered treatment, Good luck

hey snickelfritz, sorry to butt in again, but I forgot to mention, There is a girl (RIRI) who also has suffered m/c and still birth and she too was diagnosed with protein s deficiency, I just thought maybe you could ask her for some info, She chats on the ''trying again after still birth'' thread also on the m/carriage forum, Also she give me this site to look at http://www.protein.org.uk/f
