Hello ladies...first I need to share some very wonderful news. For those of you that remember Jourdan ( ie. MrsHath) she is allowing me to tell you all that she is almost 14 weeks pg !!!! She has lost 3 babies and this is her 4th pg. She had some bleeding and some scares but baby is very strong and healthy hb so far !!! She will find out the sex ( provided baby cooperates) in 3 weeks. After all she has gone through..she deserves this healthy bean !! ANJ3....it took me a few weeks to start feeling any sort of happiness again. And even then it was minimal. It will come..give yourself some time. As for everyone else....they cant begin to understand how you feel unless they went through it also. And most women are naive about it unless they have. JEWLZ...I am glad you got your first af...now you can focus on ttc again and bding in a couple weeks. Do you track your cycle...your 'o'?? LISA]...I dont know about hero...but thanks for the compliment. I think I have jest learned to juggle so much. I cant wait for dh and I to have some alone time together...I just dont know when it will happen. I hope you and your dh get yours...especially since if you have a baby you will need it. !!! OK ladies...off to dance for me, actually for dd...I am just the chauffeur. !! NICE !! have a wonderful day ladies !! |

smmom2: Yes, I track them. I use clear blue easy ovulation test. The one with the smiley face for yes and empty circle for no. I tried the ones with just the 2 lines if they are both dark then its a yes, but I couldn't ever tell with those. I was also told that with taking pre-natal vitamins you also have a better chance of conceiving? I'm not sure how true that is but every little bit helps if it is. |

I have been on a special diet this week. I then go back in Thursday morning for the 3 hour glucose test. Monday they called me to tell me that I failed the one hour. They also told me to not worry too much because their were issues with the lab that day. So instead of retaking the 1 hour they have decided to just go ahead and do the 3 hour. I have no history of problems with my other children, so they are hoping it was just a glitch. I am just not looking forward to no food for so long and sitting bored in an office for half a day. I have only done the 1 hour so if anyone has any data for me please let me know. Thank you |

Hello Ladies!!! Hope you are all well! Yes I am still alive! And slowly emerging from under the pile of files my hubby has left for me to take care of. Shireen stays with her grandpa 3 days a week so I can get some work and studying done. I have not had a chance to read posts yet... I will try to get that done at some point but Creating, I also had to do the special diet... although im positive my dr gave me the wrong one... I was supposed to eat sugar and ice cream all the time... made no sense to me. In the end it was just a glitch in my case. I really don't know if i was put on the right diet... the secretary gave me the paper and i seriously think she messed up. I am sure all will go well for your 3 hour test. Good luck! |

Lived through the 3 hour glucose test. I either got sick from the drink or got a bit of a bug and was unable to keep food down until today. Otherwise fine and dandy with a bit of bruising from the blood work. When I went to a breastfeeding class I found out I have lost 5 pounds since last month. No one seems to be too worried though since I have been so active and such. I have slowed down a lot in the past week. My energy level has been cut in half, probably because I am now into the 7 month. Baby girl is kicking like a storm and reacts to noise. She loves to hear her brothers voice and the cat purring the most. Why those 2 things I don't know but they make her kick the most. Hope all is well with everyone here, know that you are in my thoughts all the time. |

CREATING - Did you get the results back? I failed two of the four parts of the 3 hour test with my first pregnancy, so they put me of the Gestational Diabetes diet. My blood sugar this time around has been great so far, but it will get worse as the pregnancy progresses. |

Hi Girls! So here I am on my first cycle of Clomid, 50mg (the lowest dose for a start) after about 27 failed natural cycles since our 2nd m/c. :o( I’m on cd5. I am taking 5 pills from cd2 to cd6. I’d like to say I feel positive, but I’m now scared to even let myself imagine it could possibly happen after all this time. It’s become something so distant and so unachievable, only those who endured it can imagine it. When I got a text message from my friend who just had her 2nd!!! Baby I cried just the same. Thank you so much for your wishes! I don’t even know anymore whether I want a baby or this suffering to stop! |

Well the Doc called today and I failed the glucose test, so a diet for me. So yes ChrysB, any pointers would be great. I go talk to them about my diet on Friday. I really dont mind the diet, but I dont want to be scolded for shedding the pounds. 3 days of the diet and I lost 5 pounds, what is 2 months gonna do? The Doc was shocked I failed because I am healthy and the baby is at a perfect weight. I think my age, and having had big babies in the past might have something to do with it. I am wondering though, will anything different need to be done after the baby is born, like will she need a special shot or stay longer in the hospital? |

Hi Ladies. well i am feeling alot better since I last wrote to you all. Its been 5 weeks today since the m/c and i have still not yet had my period. as you can imagine, this is very frustrating for me. Is it normal?? funny thing is that my breasts have been sore and ive been feeling sick for the last week or so but im not pregnant according to my doctor. I pulled out of one of my best friend's baby shower on Saturday..i just couldnt bare the thought of sitting there while she opened baby things and everyone ooh and aahed. like i said i am doing better but like Saturday, i have my moments. I just want to be a mom so bad it hurts. bye for now..must get to work. |

MAYBE - Good luck this month! I have known lots of people to have great success on Clomid. Sometimes it has taken a few months, though, but I hope for a quick take for you. |

I am on the diet now and after seeing a the nurse about my diet, we both realized it is almost exactly what I already eat. Just more. The only thing I need to change, is I test my blood sugar 3 times a times and record it. Along with writing down everything I eat. I also cant drink juices, and I need to eat more snacks. There is the habit of having the kids want me to taste their goodies, but no big to break. On the glucose test, I passed 2 of the 4, one I failed by 8 points and the other was borderline. So I am considered border line Gestational diabetes, but with 2 children already born large and being almost 38 they decided to play it safe and have me watch my food intake. But no big life style changes for me. I will know more about future/extra ultra sounds and if they want me to give birth early, later when I see my dr for my regular prenatal visit, Wed. So far before snack my blood sugar is anywhere from 82-96, and after eating it is anywhere from 110-126. They want it between 90 and 130. I am supposed to check it sometimes after eating and sometimes before to get a wide range. |

Hello ladies...sorry..I had my final stuff at school last week and was busy !!! Now I have a couple week break..so I am writing you all !!! ANJ....I am glad things are getting better for you ! Hopefully af has startedf for you by now...some women it just takes a long time to get back to normal. But if you havent had it..I would maybe speak to your dr again...it very well could be retained tissue in your uterus or there are other reasons for delayed af as a lot of women on here can tell you. CHRYS]....11 weeks already! !! Its going fast !!! I am praying you see and hear a healthy HB at your appt !! ANd getting past those dates are hard...pg or not. It will be hard even after you have your baby! CREATING... Sounds like being ont he diet is good for you and baby. It would be so hard for me to do..I am so not disciplined when I eat. I really need to start learning !! SO whats your names for these little beans ladies???? MILLEY....there you are !!!!! I am glad to see you. Chlomid has worked for many ladie son here. Stay positive. I know it usually takes 2-3 cycles...so hang in there if it doesnt happen right away. And if it does...then I couldnt be ANY happier for you !!! |

CREATING - Your blood sugar levels sounds great, and I am glad that it isn't such a drastic diet change for you. I was also considered borderline last time. My doctor called me his 'nondiabetic diabetic' and I ended up only testing every other day after the first few weeks. It is good to keep an eye on things though, so the baby doesn't end up being too big. My daughter was 7 lbs 14 oz, so I think it was worth it to follow the diet. I am taking the one hour glucose tolerance test at my next appointment. I'll be almost 15 weeks, but since I had it before, it is possible that I will develop it earlier this time. I am significantly older now, so chances are good. |

I had a miscarriage at 7 weeks(april 13,2009) the Dr stated that the pregnancy appeared to be a cornual pregnancy that worked it self out with the best case scenario. I did not have a D&C and miscarried naturally. i spooted off and on for about 3 weeks and then it just stopped. Each week i went to the Dr to have my numbers checked and they were decreasing. So on May 10, 2009 i got what i thought was a regular cycle, but it lasted for 7 long days. My cycle has never lasted that long. Now today May 24, 2009 i woke uo to have some lower back and side pain that went away within 2 hours. Now i went to the bathroom to see that when i wipe i see bright blood. There is no blood flowing out, it just see it when i wipe. I called the nurse on call and explained the situation and she stated that it is normal to have random bleeding or spotting in the months following a miscarriage. Has anyone experienced this before or something similar? |

Hello ladies...]CHRYS]...I am thinking GIRL for you !!!!!!!!! SO glad all went well at the dr...we all know that fear !!! BUFFAloaka....so sorry for your loss. We all know how hard it is to go through this. This is the right group of girls for support !! The bleeding you have is very normal...however a lot of woman can retain tissue after having a natural m/c. If you do then you will have to have a d&c to get it out. Your dr should do an u/s to be sure there is nothing left. Also...it could be just a very irregular af that is trying to get itself sorted out. sometimes it takes awhile. I would call YOUR OB ..not the oncall nurse...and try to talk to your dr. that way you can have some peace of mind. |

BUFFALOAKA - I agree with Shelley. Talk to your OB. I will say that after my d&c, I had 1 nearly non-existent period and two extremely heavy ones (7 full days +) before returning to normal. In that time, I had a few episodes of spotting, which I am pretty sure was ovulation bleeding, which I never have. I think that there was so much uterine lining or something that there was just extra blood. My periods were certainly super heavy. I don't know, but your doctor is there to help you get through all of this, and he or she can answer your questions and allay your fears. |
