BUFFALOAKA - I agree with Shelley. Talk to your OB. I will say that after my d&c, I had 1 nearly non-existent period and two extremely heavy ones (7 full days +) before returning to normal. In that time, I had a few episodes of spotting, which I am pretty sure was ovulation bleeding, which I never have. I think that there was so much uterine lining or something that there was just extra blood. My periods were certainly super heavy. I don't know, but your doctor is there to help you get through all of this, and he or she can answer your questions and allay your fears.

Thanks for all the support and advice. I'm trying to wait it out until tuesday. The funny thing is that is the time that my normal cycle would be starting. I'm hoping that my body is just trying to get back on track... What do yall think

Buffa.....just give your body some time to sort itself out..if you think it is af.then it very well could be. Sometimes our first couple af's after a m/c are light and almost non-exsistant. My very first one was 1 week after d&c...and it was very light. Then 28 days later...a very heavy one. So....if you think it could be your af, then maybe wait til next cycle to see if it comes back heavier. Also talking to your OB NEVER HURTS !!! It is possible to have some light spotting here and there and then get af...so give your body some time. I know the waiting game sucks....we all just want to get back to normal and start with our lives again. LISA]....where the heck are you girl....what is going on with you??? Went to the Dr and all is well, other than the baby moving just as she was checking the heartbeat, and i mean a complete flip flop. lol The Dr said as long as I measure good, and dont gain massive amounts of weight she is not even going to worry about ultra sounds. If I do then she will schedule one and make sure the baby is not getting too big. So in short everything is pretty much normal except for the diet and checking my blood 3 times a day. I am craving shakes like crazy and cant have them so that sucks. lol

i lost my pregnancy on monday during 6th week, a m/c followed by D&C. Now i m completely gone & wanna have a baby very soon. Can anyone tell me that am i able to have a healthy pregnancy soon. How long should i wait for next chance.

minii- It really depends on what your doctor says. After my miscarriage (I had no D&C) He wanted me to wait 6 weeks before being with my husband. Then I went back for a check up with him to make sure I healed properly. Then he wanted me to wait 2 regular monthly cycles before we started trying again. It took us another 2 months and now I am starting into my 8 month of pregnancy. I admit I still worry daily about the baby, but each day is a little easier. So yes after a m/c you can get pregnant and have a healthy baby.

Hey guys - I'm not even going back to read...I was keeping up for a while - then about a month ago I just stopped...I'm really sorry to have disappeared..truth is its just been to hard...with everyone here talking about their kids, pregnancies etc...It has been a complete year since I was pregnant (May 08) and I have had two surgeries and I still have no period and may even need a third operation - all this cause a doctor messed me up and apparently I can't even sue because its almost impossible to proove even though everyone knows the d & c is the reason for all this...Anyways just wanted to check in to say hi to all - and thanks so much for continuing to ask about me (especially u Shelly - with your repeated call-outs :-)...Basically i'm in the same boat...worse in reality - Its been a long battle and still not over...who knows when it will be...Can't I just pop out a five year old? I feel like i shoulda had one by now..MAYBE...please get in touch with me if u can...I have chlomid questions - if I dont need another surgery I thing thats the step after prometruim...i'll find out Monday...Hope all is well with everyone else...

Hey girls...sorry we have been totally busy with more landscaping this weekend and Lexi has her ballet recital tomorrow...so life is crazy. But I have been reading up on you all. CREATING...good news is....there is sugar free and fat free icecream and frozen yogurt that you can eat ( and make shakes with)!!!! I am glad baby and you are doing well !!! MINI...I am so very sorry for your loss. The answer is it is different for every single woman. But..most women are told by their OBGYN's to wait atleast to FULL and REGULAR af's ( or cycles) before ttc again. The reason for this is to ensure that the lining of your uterus is thick enough to ensure a healthy pg again. Especially after a d & c. I lost my baby at 12 1/2 weeks ( baby died at 12 weeks ) and had a d&c done, I then got pg again 2 cycles later ( and yes it totally sucked waiting those cycles) and now I have a very healthy 9 month old baby. SO it is possible for you to go on. And no one here can predict whether or not you could lose another baby. All you can do is take every precaution from here on out. STACY....I am glad you checked in. I am sorry you are still struggling...that is so hard. I wish I could just pick a baby and hand it to youalready healthy and strong. Like i said...hang in there....A friend of mine that used to be on here just got pg again...and is actually like 16 weeks now. BUT....she has been pg 4 times...lost every single one of them....and went to an RE...was told she basically was as healthy as can be but her eggs were going through menopause and that she could never have her own kids. Then....she got a second opinion..and none of that was true. She did get pg again...it just took a very long time...she went through this for years also...I have met many friends on here that have been down the road you are on and they have all ended up with babies so far....all healthy ( after many years and even loses later). So really....keep thinking that you will hold your angel someday !!! I know it is hard for you to read on here abotu pg;s and kids...that is why I dont talk abotu mine much...I had my healthy baby...but I stay here and talk to you all because when I found this site...it helped me through a very dark time in my life. And I never would have gottent hrough it without the help of my ladies on here ( and yes I still have tough times about my lost child ). I remain here because if I can help even just one of you...then my life will be better for it. I want to help those people who feel my pain, give back to those in need like the women that were there for me in the time of mine !! And one day...you will be able to do the same !! Hi Ladies. im sorry that i have not been around, been crazy busy at work. well, i am feeling ok. had a bit of an emotional break down on Thursday at work of all places...found out that yet another girl at work is pregnant (with her 4th child) so that makes the total amount of pregnant fairies at my office (of 40 woman) up to the total of 5...5 people are pregnant out of 40 so you can guess what they talk about ALL THE TIME. they dont stop with the baby talk and its driving me crazy. whats worse is that when i walk in to where they are talking, they go silent - that makes me feel GREAT!! anyway now that that is off my shoulders :) I had my period - finally so this week i am ovulating so i hold thumbs that we conceive again. MINII - I feel your pain my friend. It has been 6 weeks since my miscariage and it still feels so raw. you will fall pregnant in no time! ill hold thumbs for you. STACYR - i am so sorry that you are having such a hard time..I agree that its not easy when you hear all about other's having babies and you have to be the one to "be happy for them" - my best friend and i fell preg at the same time in December and it was ectopic for me and she is now due in August..so every time i see her i have to see her tummy and think that that is where i would be by now..its very hard. chin up honey. keep well ladies and keep writing, i love hearing all of your stories.

Thanks for the support. My cycle is still here, but i think that it will be going away soon. According to my Dr, my body may be trying to get itself back on track.(since this was my normal cycle time)I have to go in for my bi-weekly blood work and i'm praying that my numbers will be down. Last draw my number was 87 and the Dr says that she wants it down to 5 or below.
I'm really struggling with this Miscarriage. The pregnancy was not planned nor was it with the right person. I find myself thinking about it alot. I'm also struggling with the fact that two of my close friends are pregnant one due in Aug and one do in Sept and i feel terrible when i talk to them about how i feel and what i'm going through. I know that they don't want to hear about a miscarriage while they are happy about being pregnant. Then when i talk to other friends about it, they listen but i feel like they want to tell to get over it. I find myself thinking about it alot. I want to try again in August, but i'm kinda afraid.

STACEY-I haven't been through surgeries like you, apart from the laparoscopy I had, but believe me I relate to you so much!!! It has not been once I had those really dark moments when I couldn't bring myself to read even about the girls here, because, how someone who gets pregnant with a healthy baby 2 or 3 months after m/c can even begin to understand what it is to endure 2 years! And I don't mean that in resentful way. It's just much tougher for us! We are one step away again.
I'm glad you checked in, I'm sorry you are still struggling and living in the uncertainty. But I'm keeping all my fingers crossed for you, it won't last much longer!! You are still young, believe me! Even though I know that whatever people say, many times it doesn't bring any comfort. So I'm just sending you lots and lots of hugs!!!
As for the Clomid: I'm on my first round. I think I'm about 5dpo. I took it from day 2-6 of the cycle, starting with 50mg dose. I took it before going to bed, so I would sleep through side effects if I had any. I only had bit of hot flushes before getting up in the mornings up until 10dpo. And just before ovulation I had bit of a skin breakout, definite ovulation pain and breast tenderness and I was really really irritated. (Poor DH survived. haha) Any question, pls ask, I'll be back to answer them.

I don't want to intrude in your group but I really have to share what I lived through with people who understand. I never thought that this would happen again.In 2005 I had a spontaneous miscarriage at about 8 wks. of gestation. It was devastating but eventually I got pregnant again and I had a beautiful little girl who will be 3 yrs. in July. Well the unthinkable happened again and on May 25 when I went for my ultrasound I was told that my baby had no heartbeat. With all my pregnancies I had problems like spotting and cramping. However, I thought that my pregnancy was safe because they saw the fetal heart beat at 7 weeks and 9 weeks. I was 12.4weeks when they told me that my baby was dead. I don't know what happened in the last 3 weeks. I blame myself constantly. I don't smoke, I don't drink and I had even stopped drinking coffee. To make things worse they gave me cytotec to expulse the baby and I ended up with a hemorrhage the next morning. I had to have and emergency D&C and it was absolutely devastating. I could't breathe when they put the mask on me and they would not let my husband come in. I was having chest pain as the nurses were holding me by the arms and the legs. They kept telling me to stop crying. I lost so much blood and they did not even take blood tests to see if I had anemia. I finally managed to change the hospital and the doctor for my post miscarriage follow-up. I don't know if a D&C is like that for every woman and I don't know if I'm normal to feel so dehumanized. I feel less than a woman and I don't even know if I'll ever get the courage to TTC ever again.

Thanks dear for your emotional support.My doc want me to wait 3 cycles before goinf for next chance. Meanwhile she has given me medicines to heal properly.
Also i have to some tests also like thyroid,rubbela e.t.c to ensure my fitness. So i m just waiting for these cycles to finish soon. Also happy to kno that you are gud & healthy. Hey have you taken any extra care of your's during pregnancy as i m still worried bout my next pregnancy. Hope everything will be allright.wish you happy motherhood.

Hi ladies...ok so my husband and i tried for the week that i was ovulating which was last week...i want to know when i can test to see if it worked?? is it too soon now or should i wait till i have missed my period next week? the reason i ask is, i have had sore breasts all day and am not sure what to make of it. let me know what you think.xxxxx

How is everyone today? I had another 2 week visit the other day. Baby is fine, she finally decided to go head down, so now my ribs are taking a beating. My Dr was out of town and will be again in my next 2 week visit. So I saw her partner. He is really nice and I am happy to have him as a backup. He wants me to go ahead and have another ultra sound next week to check on the weight of the baby. It can be off by a pound but if it is still showing a large baby then we know that I will have to be induced or have a C-section early. Since I am already on the Gestational Diabetes Diet there is not much they can do other than not let her get too big. My blood sugars are not too high and I am still not gaining tons of pounds. In fact only half an ounce. I am measuring okay, but with my other too I was a lot smaller so it worries them that the baby is too big. I just want her to be healthy. Had a baby shower a few weeks back and got tons of stuff. I am as set as you can be when getting ready to have a baby. lol Hope all is well with everyone.

Hello ladies...]Creating..I am glad baby flipped. I am sure baby will be perfect and healthy. Nice that you got all kinds of stuff from your shower !!!! FUN ! Now comes nesting !! ANJ...sorry for the delay. You can use a first response test and it will give you accurate results. However you should try to wait until you have hit your cycle day that should be af atleast, if not until you are late. That way you wont get a false neg if you are pg !!! CRISSY...I am sorry for your loss. The loss of a baby is different for each and every one of us. But the feeling is usually the same. We all feel depressed and so much more. It is such a hard thing to lose a child. You will get the courage to ttc again...but dont force it...do it when you are ready and when your body is healed. We are all here for each other for moral support...that is why we are on this forum.
