Hello ladies: I've heard about women using steroids to help prevent further miscarriages. I've had 4 and have had all the tests done and nothing is wrong. I'm wondering if it could be NK cells or something with my immune system. Have any of you taken steroids or can you share your knowledge? I just don't know what to do anymore.

Hi, I do know a friend who did Prednisone in the first part of her pregnancy. You could ask your doctor about it? Stress that you don't know WHAT is wrong and that at this point you are willing to try anything. I felt the same way by the time I got to my last pregnancy which was successful (after 6 losses). My dr. told me no on predisone for that one but that if I were to lose again then we would do a low dose for my next pregnancy. I still always wonder about the NK issue for myself but now that my dd is here I'm not obsessing on it as much. I don't know if you've checked out the Beer's Institutes website on NK cells, etc. I think the web address is like repro-med.com or something like that. Probably google will show it. Oh and when was your last loss? When did they all happen? I know I've spoken with you on this site before but it's been a while since I've been on here and even longer since we posted to each other so I need a refresher :)
