Anyone Had CM Days After Period?

Hi GL, I had a d&c on June 28th, after 10 weeks of trying to miscarry naturally - my miscarriage started on April 23. My first period started on July 26th, and lasted 7 days, was really heavy for 3 of those days (changing pads every hour) and within 3 days of finishing, I too had CM. I think I must have ovulated really early. My next period started on August 21, and has been really heavy ( 1 pad an hour for the last 3 days) and I am finally starting to slow down now, on my 5th day. I hope it is over soon. I am 37 yrs old. My doctor has told me to try to go on birth control pills to try and straighten my system out. I also was very regular before...28 day cycle, 5 day period - 1 day was moderately heavy, but nothing like this - no clots or anything...Sorry if too much info. I will start the pills this sunday coming up...I hope it works. I just started another thread yesterday - "hormone imbalance after miscarriage" - youre welcome to come join me there, were hoping to find the answers were looking for. Another girl on my thread says she was having similar problems, and her doctor gave her progesterone for 10 days, and after that, her periods were more normal. Good luck, and keep your chin up. thank you llisab for your story, my last af was like yours-really heavy for 2 days, but then tapered off. i read the comments on the other board you mentioned, the vitex sounds interesting. it is certainly not too much info! btw i am from kitchener waterloo so that is funny, you are so close by! I have 1 DD who is 2 - the light of my life. i want so much to give her a sibling. do you know if you have been ovulating? what did your doc say? is this common? |

No, I'm not sure that I'm ovulating, I didn't take the predictor tests or anything, but I'm just going by the "egg white" mucous that I had very soon after my period. That is funny that we are so close, because on this site, you could be talking to someone on the other side of the world...I have 2 sons (13 and 12), and a daugher who is 7. They and my hubby are the only things that kept me going after my m/c. It is so important to have a support system. My doctor did say that it is not uncommon to have this, and that the pills should clear it up. I hope so.!!! |
