Car Accidents And Pregnancy

I was in a car accident when I was 7 weeks pregnant.My Stella is now 19 months old and not walking.The doc did an MRI of her brain and said she has scarring on the part of her brain that controls walking.My question is could the car accident have caused this? I have a lawsuit pending and would like to know if my baby deserves compensation.Thank You.
