Hope After 2 Miscarriages

Hi-I have had two early miscarriages, one in July and one in September (4.5 and 6 weeks). My doc wants me to take a break for 2 cycles and then will put me on Clomid after that (my progesterone has been low, but don't know if it is low and that caused the miscarriages or it is low because of the miscarriages). Has anyone out there had successful pregnancies after multiple miscarriages (with or without Clomid)? Any experiences with Clomid? I have been lucky in that we have only tried to conceive twice and did, but unfortunately they have not ended well.
