Is Is Possible To Stop Bleeding Aft D&c And Then Start Again

I had a d&c thurs. 9/03. Bleeding after was light, old brown blood. Wednesday 9/9 started bleeding bright red blood and ovaries hurt with it. I called the dr. and they said I could have started my period or bleeding could be from going back to work and being on my feet all day. I was curious if anyone else had the same experience. How long did the bleeding last? I go back to the dr. 9/18 so I am hoping they can give me more of an answer and I hope they say that everything healed correctly. I was worried about having a d&c, but knew it would be quick and wouldn't have to wait for the m/c to happen on its own.
