Hi KELLD, I think you totally can go on to have a healthy pregnancy, just don't give up! It gets depressing, frustrating, heartbreaking but most women with fertility issues can and do go on to have babies. I'd suggest gathering up all of your medical records especially pertaining to the pregnancies and keep them for your own records. Start researching online especially with reputable sites and search "recurrent pregnancy loss". I have a list I made up here of tons of tests that can be run and doctors only do a small fraction of them to start off. If you are healthy and don't have any issues with autoimmune issues, thyroid problems, diabetes, polycystic ovarian syndrome, etc. (and you don't smoke, don't drink, do drugs, aren't obese, and so on) then you definitely need to look more closely at the testing being done. Miscarriage IS very common but not when you start having 3+ losses and they all happen around the same time. I had 6 early losses, most of them under 8 weeks. I ended up having my daughter while doing several things. I'll never know what worked if any of them worked (could have been just luck too) but it was a long road. Also look into doing a semen analysis for your husband to see how his sperm look and I'd do a genetic karyotype on both of you to rule out any abnormalities that could cause you to lose your pregnancies. Those are VERY rare, but it's better to know than not know. Mine was covered by my insurance b/c my dr. ordered it as a result of my loss. My husband's was not covered and was very expensive (around 1,000 dollars). It gave me peace of mind though to know that was not theissue. Hang in there and it will get better. Have you had a HSG of your uterus and tubes to check for blockages, etc.? Any scarring from d&c's?
