Sorry to hear what happend to you. How far along were you? This is my scenond pregnancy loss in a year. I am only 23 so this makes me extremely nervous. My appointment is in a couple of hours, the anticipation is killing me. I think I am only 8 weeks. It's really heart breaking. Are you trying again? How long do you have to wait before it is okay to start trying again? Hope to hear from you soon.

Hi Venus, Sorry it took me a bit to write you I just saw your post. I am 24 (will be 25 in november). I was 7 weeks along when I had my ectopic. My surgery was just 4 weeks ago today. My dr told me it would be better to wait until after I have my first period but I honestly think that is just so that you know when you got pregnant. My right tube was removed so I dont need to worry about my HCG levels not being down. Now if my HCG levels werent down and I got pregnant again then my body would start to support both pregnancies which could cause problems from bleeding during pregnancy all the way to cancer. My fiance and I started have sex again 2 weeks after my surgery. I am not on any type of bc for one reason being that I cant take anything hormonal due to medical reasons. I am going to let nature take its course basically. I healed rather quickly and have been back to normal for awhile now. I just havent gotten my period yet and dont even know if I will get it. I figure that my body will get pregnant when its ready too!!
