Very Discouraged

i went to the doctor today thinking i was about 6 weeks. I had spotted for 12 days around the time my period was due but it went away. Anyway my doctor gave me a sonogram and saw nothing and he said my levels are all very low. They took more blood and I will get the results on Friday. He said I may not be as far along as I thought, which I dont understand considering when my last period was. The other obvious possibility is that i am miscarrying. I havent had any spotting days and my boobs are still killing me. Any insight?

I miscarried w/o spotting, but teh good news for you is that my symptoms went away...meaning, my boobs didn't really hurt me much at the time. Good Luck :)

They say that every pregnancy is different for every woman, and the same goes for miscarriages. I knew i was miscarrying before i started bleeding,,,,but with a previous pregnancy i bled before i really knew anything was wrong..i wish you the best of luck Janine, just hang in there till you know for sure.

You may not be as far along as you thought, late ovulation, long swimming sperm..who knows?!Anything earlier than 6wks might be hard to detect.Sore boobs in my opinion is a good sign that you're still pregnant.Good luck!

I think everyone is different too..but, i am currently going through a miscarriage and my boobs are still very sore..I had an ultrasound yesterday at 6 weeks and they found a 4-5 week gest. sac w/ no yolk sac or fetal pole..they told me I may not be as far along as they thought..but then my levels came back really low.. I now am bleeding really heavily..it all happened so fast. Monday #'s were good, Thursday u/s not good.. friday miscarriage. I am sad but have hope for the future. I hope that you do not have to go through the same thing. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Good luck!
