I tested at 15 dpo and got a very faint positive. On 20 dpo, I took another test, different brand, the control line was very faint so I just tossed it on the desk and thought the test was defective. I looked at it 10 mins later and the control line darkened and I had another very faint positive. I took another test yesterday, 23 dpo, different brand again and I got a BFN. Is there a possibility that I'm pregnant or was it a chemical pregnancy? Shouldn't there be enough hcg by now for a test to pick up? I am going to the doctor at the end of this week for a blood test, just wondering what other think.

So all three tests were different brands? If I were you I would go get a First Response Early Results and see what result you get. Different tests have different sensitivity levels. If you can't use first morning urine today, then restrict your fluid intake, and hold your pee for atleast 3 hours, 4 if you can. Most of the packages have two and sometimes you can find them with three, that way you would have atleast one more for tomorrow if you need it. I really hope you get another positive. It is really rare to get a false positive, unless it was a chemical??? Please let me know.

I took a first response this morning, and it was a BFN! It looks like my temps are dopping too, it was at a 97.8, yesterday it was at a 98.8, the day before a 99.2. If it was a chemical pregnancy when I go for blood work will there be a little bit of hcg still left for the test to pick up? I'm going in on Thursday.

There may be some hcg still in your system, but not enough to detect with a home test. I am so sorry. How long have you been trying for a baby?

We have been tcc for only 3 months. I really feel like af is going to be coming =( I went to the bathroom earlier and had just a little bit of light pink blood but i know its way too late for implantation bleeding. Oh well, all we can do is keep trying and I know we will get our baby someday.

Are you sure of when you ovulate for trying next cycle? It looks as though you temp? With our first we used an ovulation kit, and for this pregnancy we used a digital fertility monitor. Again, I can't tell you how sorry I am.

LACEA...I cant answer your ? but i would like to know your Dr.s results when you get them bcuz i have went through the exact thing and i now have a very heavy period!

Yes, I do chart, I go by my temps and CM. I was thinking about using and ovulation kit, but we're going to try a couple more cycles the way we have been.

G.A. I will let you know what the doctor says. I go in on Thursday so I'll let you know as soon as I get back although I'm afraid I know the answer. AF seems to have picked up, I'm having strong cramps although my flow is unusually different this time, and it's not heavy at all, but I will let you know.

G.A. I wanted to let you know what I found out.

I went and my test came up negative so he took some blood I won't know the results until Monday. He thinks I had a miscarraige, because my uterus felt a little bit bigger than what it would normally be but not big. I don't know I didn't understand I guess. Sorry if I'm no help.
