ok i know many women out there are in the same position as i am and are desperately looking for answers or advice. so here's my story...
hubby came home for leave before heading overseas and we had quite a fun time ;). anyways, my last cycle started jan 13th. it is currently 60 days since my last period started. i missed my february period, and now i'm due for my next period in about a week. i have taken hpt after hpt not because i missed my period and was curious what was going on, but because i have had a faint positive test result every 4 or 5 times i test since the day of my missed period. you would think an hpt would get darker with time, but mine has remained extremely faint. i have had 6 faint positives now, so i took a qualitative blood test. that came out negative even though i tested positive with my hpt just minutes before. i wasn't convinced it was negative so this past monday i went in for a beta blood test which is supposedly error proof. that as well came out negative. i have experienced symptoms which are slowly going away. i've been nauseous, tired, bloated to the max, very gassy(gross i know but i can't stop burping like a beer drinking champion), and very emotional. whenever i get hungry i get sooo picky with what i can eat. i remember ovulating with the discharge and the sharp pains when my hubby first came home, but is it possible to ovulate and not get your period if you're not pregnant?
i guess i'm asking if anyone has been in my situation or is currently in my situation. i would like to know how long it took the hpt's or blood tests to come out with a definite positive result if you were indeed pregnant. do you think those positives were actually false positives? i read them within the time given. it couldn't have been a chemical pregnancy because i have not bled yet and it's been about a week since the beta blood test. could my hcg level just be extremely low at 8 weeks??
