Hey everone. I went to the doctor, and she was very reluctant to do a follow up blood test at this time. We just talked about things, but it really helped to just talk to someone who really knows what I am going through. She told me to come back in 2 weeks for some tests, at which time she is going to test my insulin level as well. This is just to rule things, such as PCOS out. She also offered a prescription to get me ovulating, which I may start after my test results. We'll see. I really don't have many questions answered at this point, but it just helped to have her listen...and all of you as well. Thanks!

Hey Lisa, my last period was on November 24, 2004. I have taken 3 hpt, and all have turned up negative. I started spotting in mid-Feb., but still no period. My doctor said I don't look prego, yet my clothes are tight. I made an appointment with the Gyno for a blood test. Hang in there!

My last period was January 17, 2005. It is February 28, 2005, I was on the pill, my period never came once I finished the red pills. I have done five or six pregnancy tests, all negative. I went to the doctor for a blood test, but was told they only do urine tests, came back negative. I have lost weight, I am exercising and a few months I lost my job. It is not the first time I am stressed but never since I began having my period at age 12, did I miss it..I have been on the pill for 11 years, got pregnant and had resumed my pills when this happened. The doctor told me to continue with my next package but something told me not to until I am sure. Hubby thinks the same. I am in the same boat. I had a great pregnancy previously so there is really nothing I can compare it too. I am waiting to see what happens.

I just got my blood test result back and it came out negative. doesn't explain why I am 2 months late. Could I still be pregnant???

Sarah M. - February 28th, 2005 11:15 AM

Hi Leanne T. and everyone else. My doc said that I probably am not ovulating. She said that even if I were I would only have a 20% chance of getting pregnant. Those are pretty poor odds, but she said that there isn't any reason with some help from a select prescription that I couldn't concieve. She said that she sees this kind of situation a lot, and not too worry too much. I talked to my hubby about everything last night, and we are still trying like crazy and having fun in the process. My point is, don't worry, and live your life. Although having a child would be great, I don't want to miss all of the fantastic things that may take place in the long process.

Hello ladies! Still no Period that will be 83 days! I set up a OB GYN appointment for the 18th of March. I just don't feel it coming. I am very young 23 so I know I'm not going through the life change. I am going to demand a ultrasound at my appointment. Also my belly looks really pregnant. This is sooo odd. I'll keep you all updated no matter what. btw I am not ttc.

Sorry about the picture I typed the 2nd thing in. It would not show up if I pasted it! Don't know what is up with that. If I don't start by the 18th of March then I am going to demand a ultrasound! Does anyone else just feel like af is not going to come?! I have never been this sure of anything!

Sarah M. - March 2nd, 2005 12:07 PM

Momof3, I saw your picture, and you really do look like you're expecting. My clothes feel like they are getting tighter everyday. My breasts / nippkes started to hurt badly on Sunday. It feels like they are bruised. Sound familiar? I go in for my blood work on the 8th, so while I do that, I am going to let the nurse know what is happening, and I'll go from there.

Sarah M. - March 2nd, 2005 12:09 PM

Sorry, "nipples"

Choa - March 2nd, 2005 1:08 PM

I haven't had my period since the first weekend of January. After that I haven't had my period. Before I was sexually active I would get my period from 2-3months and then wouldn't have it until 2-3 months later. I then started birth control, but when I went off to college never had the money to get more...I was on it from April of 2004 to October 2004. Ever since then I have irregular, but since I am sexually active with my first real boyfriend I am worried as well. I have taken a couple of pregnancy test and all of them have came out Negative. I have no syptoms, except for some that are like before having your period...its an ongoing thing. Does anyone else have this happening to them too?
