Hello, I'm late for my second period, have had lots of pregnancy symptoms, and I had a total of four positive pregnancy tests and one negative blood test. When I was a couple days late for my first period I took 2 tests and they both came up positive (the positive result came up in the time limit). A week later I had a blood test done and was told the results were negative? A week after that I took another test because I still hadn't started my period and the symptoms were still there and that test was also positive... I then followed up with yet another one the next day and it was again positive! Has anyone had this happen to them? Should I consider myself pregnant and that the blood test was an error?

I would speak to my dr about it. Home pg tests are supposed to be very accurate, especially positive results! Are you on any medication that might give a false positive? Could the lab has mixed up your results with someone else? It is always possible. I would call my dr. :) Good luck!

I'm not on any medications, just prenatal vitamins. I decided to start taking them in case I am pregnant. I'm hoping it's just a lab mix up.

They always say a positive is a positve! I would schedule a appointment with your ob and find out for sure. If you have missed 2 periods now is a good time to get prenatal care.

u cud well be as blood tests have a cut off point before they are deemed positive. hope this helps, xxx
