To JESS--- did you say 14 weeks? Wow, did you have blood tests done yet or even an ultrasound? I think you should if you haven't yet!! The suspense must be intense? Let me know what's going on....Good luck to us all :)

to MONIQUE - You sound just like me, except my nipples aren't sore. I have had 2 neg blood tests, have headaches and fatigue, wierd creamy discharge, and experienced some nausea about 2 weeks ago, but not much lately. I am 29 days late and going for an u/s wednesday afternoon. To be honest, i don't think i'm pg, but just want to know where my period is because we'd like to try and conceive soon. (at the EXACT time my cycle is gone MIA, haha -- maybe a sign?)

To Kelly-----I am also going for an ultrasound this week...not sure on what day yet since the hospital hasn't called me yet...should find out tomorrow....I will keep you girls posted...I am working 3pm-11pm this week, so I will reply before going to work and when I got home from work......Let's keep our fingers crossed..... :)

Hi everyone. I can't find the thread I had been posting on but I'll update here. =). I got my period yesterday. SO . . . . . the waiting is over and it turns out all my symptoms were due to stress which . . . .makes sense. Good luck to everyone and I guess I'll be back on here in five years when we decide to have a family! Have a great day. =)

Sorry to hear that news if you are disappointed, Scarlett Jane. I hope that my period shows up soon and it was just stress. I was in a car accident, and had 2 periods after but going back to work was tiring and stressful, so maybe that has been it. I go tomorrow for my ultrasound. I am a little nervous, mostly because I have never been for one before. I know about the drinking water stuff, but someone said I shouldn't eat but I can't remember the dr.'s office saying that. Anyone know?

to Monique - Did you find out when you go for your ultrasound? Any more symptoms? I am going for mine tomorrow afternoon, am feeling a little nervous... not sure if I will get any information back at the appointment but will post to let you know what I see (if anything...)

To Kelly....I still haven't heard from the hospital yet...hopefully they'll call later (Wednesday) before I go nuts....Wow, you're going for an ultrasound later, is it a transvaginal ultrasound or just a regular ultrasound?? Ask a lot of questions, and let me know of the details...Good Luck, and write back as soon as you can....I'll also keep you posted.... :)))))

Mandy, reading your story made me so mad for you! My ob/gyn gave me a transvaginal ultrasound during my pre-ttc appointment just to make sure my uterine lining was good. That's BS that all those docs gave you the run-around the way they did. I hope you let your doctor know that your are unhappy with the way you were treated. Doctors don't know everything, even in the medical world.

Hey Mandy! You are not alone. I was due to start my period on April 14th and still haven't. I have endometriosis and have been trying to get pregnant with no luck. I ahve tried test after test, along with a blood test at the hospital ( I think this would be your best bet) They are quick and easy and you will get results that day or the next. I too am having all the symptoms, nausea, breast pain, cravings, and fatigue, I wish you the best of luck, and do get the Beta HCG (BLOOD TEST) These are almost 100% accurate and there are very, very few cases of them failing.

To Monique - just got back from the ultrasound. i asked a LOT of questions, but she couldn't tell me a whole lot (for legal reason). they did a regular one and she showed me my uterus (looked like a round blob - bigger than i expected), bladder (big black space), kidneys, and ovaries (grey sausages). I saw her twice freeze the frame and then measure the diameters of a black ball, which I didn't ask what it was but I didn't want her to get mad. THen she did the transvag one, which is fine not painful, just a touch itchy from the gel. She showed me a few things again (incl. egg follicles in my ovary - really neat!) and said my uterus tilts backwards a bit. That's it. She said "Obviously, you are not pregnant", which we both already knew but couldn't say anything else. I sort of think she might have said if everything looked fine to her but maybe not... My results will take about a week to get back. More waiting!!!

Something else! had one teeny little bit of light brown mucous discharge this morning. Sorry if this is gross. Checked things out a bit and the rest is just clear/whiteish like normal. What the heck is this??? Thought it might be the start of a period, but no cramps, no more brown junk. Who knows...

Congrats Mandy!! I wish you all the best, and I hope you let your doctor hear a little something about her mistakes.
Here's what's going on with me. I was supposed to have my (.) in Febuary, skipped it. Had one in March, which seemed okay and then skipped April. I've done about 5 tests and they've been negative. I've been a little stressed out, but I've never missed a period. I was on b/c for about 5 years and got off it a little over a year ago. Could my body just not be used to being off the b/c yet? Maybe I'm just every 2 months now? Maybe it's just stress, but if so, why would I have one inbetween? Before I had my last period I was feeling a few symptoms such as tender nipples, but then my period came so I thought I was fine... but then I skipped one again...... AHHHHH!!

I am slowly going crazy 1-2-3-4-5-6 switch.....
If anyone has any advice please let me know. Should I go to the doctors or just wait and see if my next period comes? Thanks a bunch!!

To Kelly....Sorry for the "not pregnant" news....So the only thing she was able to tell you is that you weren't pregnant?? You will get more answers from your doctor next week, is that right?? I am calling the hospital in the morning if they don't call....the doctor had told me it would be done this week, well, it's now Thursday, still nothing....So, i am calling and demanding an answer, whether they say they're too busy to check or not.....hehe, I want to find out what the heck is going on.....So, you still didn't get your periods then? Did your spotting go away, or did it develop in your periods?? Sorry for all the questions, hehe.....Well, it's late, very tired....I'll write back before going to work later @ 3pm.....Say positive either way....I will also do my best.....bye for now :))) (I'm now 28 days late....sheesh)

Kelly....Well, 4 weeks late today (so 8 weeks prgnt if I am)....Oh my god.....i'm soooo mad...I just called the hospital cause i still hadn't heard from them yet, for my ultrasound supposily scheduled for this week....They checked in their computer only to tell me that I was in there allright....FOR SEPTEMBER.....I mean C'MON....I'd be 3 months away from delivering if I was prgnt....So, I asked to be transfered to the Emergency to talk to someone there (the woman i was speaking with said they wouldn't be able to do anything for me, that i either have to go see my family dr. or go back to the E.R....who does she think she is...I still told her to transfer the call to the E.R....if i don't ask, they won't help....), and the woman in the E.R. that I talked to said that the doctor hadn't written in my file that is was rushed....I almost, well ok, i cried....I couldn't believe this....I told her I couldn't wait anymore, and that I had waited approx 3 hrs last friday at the E.R. to see that doctor.....I told her I can't wait 3-4 hrs per day to see a doctor who says he'll do something, but end up not doing what he said....I don't have enough time to waste waiting around.....ANYWAYS, she told me that with my approval (of course), that she would check with her supervisor (??) and see what she could do.....Now, i'm waiting for a call back......WOW!!!!, I hate the way the doctors deal with these kinds of situations.......grrrrrrrr.....I'll keep you posted......bye for now :)))

Hi girls. I have written in then forum before. My last period was Feb. 11, 2005. I have had neg. quan. blood test and also 2 neg. urine tests from the doctors. I have had sore nipples (never had in my life) very bloated and some CM. Let me give a little history. I have been off birth control for a little over a year. I have had (in the past 2 months) a thyroid test, blood pg test, urine pg test, and numerous tests on my white and red blood cells everything was normal. I have since seen a Gyn. She did a pelvic exam and said everything looked normal. I am having no pain, but a couple weeks ago I still felt like I was going to start my period. It never came. I dont feel like that anymore. Not only do my nipples hurt now, but so do my bbs. Anyways. I will tell you what my doc said. She said that I could have PCOS. Even though I have no signs or symptoms. She said if a woman does not have a period everything 3 months that it increases the risk of cancer before you are not shedding the lining of your uterus (like you do when you have your period). She put me on Provera for 5 days. Provera is a supplement hormone. It is supplamenting the hormone your body makes makes before your period. Your body makes this hormone for some time then it stops. When it stops this is the sign for your period to come. The you shed the lining of your uterus. I have since finished my pills 2 days ago. Still nothing. She told me that If I did not start that this because my brain is not telling my body what to do when the hormone have stopped being made. So, I go see her again next week. She refused to give me another blood test. She said that it was pointless. Im so confused. I dont think I am pregnant, but I have never had anything like this happen. I turned 21 in January. Never had a problem with my period before. I was on birth contol for 3 years. If you have any experience with this let me know. If you havent see a doc, and still getting neg pg test. Go see your doc. It could hurt you in the long run. I will let everyone know what my doc says next week. Good luck girls.

To Kelly....I just got a call from the nurse (finally), and she said that the DR probably "forgot" to write that the ultrasound had to be done right away (that's why it was scheduled for september ).....Anyway, I have an apointment for May 12 @ 11h40am....ahhhh, I can breathe....I am releaved, for now anyway....We'll see what it brings....I'll keep you posted :))))
