To Kelly....I just got a call from the nurse (finally), and she said that the DR probably "forgot" to write that the ultrasound had to be done right away (that's why it was scheduled for september ).....Anyway, I have an apointment for May 12 @ 11h40am....ahhhh, I can breathe....I am releaved, for now anyway....We'll see what it brings....I'll keep you posted :))))

Monique - I am SO sorry that you had to go through all of that just to get your appointment. When I went for my u/s the technician said that women who miss more than 2 periods should always go in for an u/s. Good for you to be proactive about it!! I'm curious to see what they say at yours next week. Are you still still feeling tired and sick in the evenings?

Still no period. The one little speck of spotting I had was all there was! It was honestly like the size of a bean. So now I'm 34 days late, 66 days since my last period..

The doctor didn't call today so I guess it can't be anything too bad.. I'm not sure if I mentioned this before but I was in a bad car accident in January. I broke my foot, had to have surgery and stuff and now am having a few complications with it (called RSD, the calcium has leached out of the bones in my foot in my body's screwed up attempt to fix the bones!). Although I had 2 period since the accident, I wonder if the stress of going back to work, hobbling around in a cast (it's been off for 2 weeks now), and starting to drive again would make my period go away.. I just don't know! Anyways, we weren't trying to concieve just yet because I wanted to be cast-free and knew I would be doing x-rays and stuff so I am relieved. But now we want to start trying.

Has anyone had just one little brown spot and then nothing?

hey girls, i am also in the same boat as many of you. if i am pregnant i will be 12 weeks tomorrow. i have gotten 3 blood tests and i cant even count how many urine tests- all negative. My arms are bruised and i look like a heroin addict because ive gotten so much blood taken in the past couple months! I have been tested for everything including pregnancy, thyroid problems, hemoglobin etc etc. Basically everything that you can test for. But nothing has been found. FINALLY the other day i got an ultrasound. I'm still waiting for the doctor to call me and tell me whats up but i am sooo sick of this. I have spent soo many nights sitting in the er wondering whats wrong and having them tell me absolutely nothing and sending me home. I've missed 3 periods, i have VERY dark areolas, sore tailbone, sore back, sore boobs (on and off), all day nausea, the odd headache, period like cramps quite frequently, i am sooo bloated and constipated i can hardly stand it, and my ankles have been swelling when i stand on them for a long time. So what do you all think? I just cant think of anything else it could possibly be. I am usually very regular so this is odd for me. I just cant live like this anymore wondering if im pregnant or if theres something else seriously wrong with me. Any opinions would be muchly appreciated!!! Thanks Guys! To Kelly....I am now 29 days late, still no period....yes, I am still having "so-called symptoms"...the headaches are almost gone, but the sore nipples (wow...), discharge, still nauseous (not only in the evenings, but at anytime now, especially mid-afternoon), I am soooo BLOATED (i'm regular, not constipated..so even when i'm done for the day, My belly is still noticibly bloated---big time), and I still have unexplicable weird feelings in my lower abdominal area (not gas, or menst. cramps either).....AND I PEE EVERY 30-45 minutes...grrrr....so, I really don't know if they would be signs of prgncy or missed periods (twice in a row)....Ah well, I'm taking it day by day, and we'll see next week, by the results of the ultrasound.....can't wait to have results so I can move on with my life.....

To - Jana! Oh my Gosh I understand you so well, if you want we can write each other e-mails. When I read your story I thought it was mine, but name was different. I will be 13 wekks on Tuesday. I had 3 blood tests - all negative! Only ONE, and only ONE hpt showed positive 2 weeks after I missed my first period, after that everything sooo negative!!! They took all posible tests on me too, and everything looked very normal, what's going on, they don't know. Did I mention, that I also changed 3 doctors already? Well, finally I scedule an u/s for May 12, so I will keep posted. I think if I am 13 weeks pg, they should see it. The worse thing is, that some women saing that sometimes they can't see on u/s either. So what is going to be next I don't know. But I don't really want to take pills to jump my period yet. I also have all symptoms, including that my boobs hurt on and off. I also was spotting on days when my regular period should start. I already start thinking, that maybe since now on my period will be like this - tiny pink or brown spotting. Gyns always looked inside, and told me that I don't look very pg at all. One Gyn said maybe very early pregnansy, another said maybe 6 weeks, but I was then already 11 weeks. So either I was 11 weeks or not at all. How can I get pg if I didn't have my period!!! What you think I am some kind off stupid?! Anotehr Doc said - maybe you had m/c? Who they think I am? An idiot, who can't tell if you have m/c? All Doctors just driving me nuts. No one can give me answers, no one would admit, that there was cases when women don't produce enough HCG, or not produsing at all. NO, NO - IT'S NOT POSSIBLE. i missed my period last month, but i started 5 days early this month, and it only lasted 4days and it wasn't normal(it didn't have that much blood there). could i b pregnant?

I am over two months late. I've been pregnant before and I really think I am now. My lower belly is getting firmer, and starting to stick out more. I can't drink coffee or I throw up. I've been feeling kinda woosy and my back is killing me. Plus, my brests feel really tender. But every test I take comes up negative. I'm on the pill but I missed two days in March and had to double dose to get back on track. I went to the clinic here for a blood test but it was negative too.
Can stress cause you to miss two periods? I'm not even spotting a little.

After reading all of these posts I'm thinking maybe I should have an ultra sound to check just in case.

I am over 5 weeks late. I have had numerous hpts come back negative, except one that I took back to the chemist and she said inconclusive and retest, and also blood and urine tests done at the doctors come back negative. This week I have had quantative tests done. The first one said negative >0.1 and 48hrs later that said 0.1 equivocal retest in 48hrs. My GP is not in till Tuesday so I cant get the other one done till then. I am so confused! I have never been late before and really need to know because of medication I am on which can harm a baby. I have been told to come off the medication and have not had any for 4 weeks. Noone has said that the medication can interfere with test results so I am taking that as not possible. The only symptoms I have had are sore boobs on and off, slight crampings but they were worse when i had my last child, nauseous and not knowing what to eat, which I had with my last pregnancy. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks

Hi Monique and everyone else. Gave into the temptation and did yet ANOTHER hpt test and of course it was STILL negative. I haven't had any more spots since May 4, and no period yet either. My nipples are a little sore today, but maybe it's from the non-stop probing (as in: do these look bigger? are they tender? do they have more veins?) that i'm doing because i'm a little crazy haha. I'll keep you posted. Monique - only a few more days to wait until your ultrasound! Jana, Monique, Natalie, everyone, I wonder WHAT is going on with us...

hey, I have posted on some of the other thread on this site, but I have been reading almost all the posts to see how everyone is doing...I am now 19 days late and I too gave in a took another test today...bfn arg!!!! My husband says my nipples look a little different and there are more veins in my breasts than before... I just also got a terrible cold and have been throwing up a lot...dont know if its from a pregnancy or all the snot...wish I knew what was going on...I have a blood test on monday so hopefully will get good news...feel like I am going mad

To Kelly....Well, weekend's over and still no period...32 DAYS LATE...Still having symptoms (nauseous more often, yellowish creamy discharge...still.....bloating, weird bubble/tingling/burning sensations in my lower abdominal......I'm trying sooo hard to stay calm and focused, but it is very difficult...Not a minute goes by without me thinking about it...I very very lightly (barely) pink spotted when I wiped, on same day and the day after I had sex....I thought my periods were starting, but they never did....the spotting is now gone.....Anyway, Ultrasound is still Thursday morning (May 12/05)...I will keep you posted as the week progresses.....Stay Positive....And I can't wait to find out what is going on in there :))))

Man, this site is great for finding people in the same situation as yourself. I have 3 kids already, however, the only symptom I had with any of the pregnancies was a missed period. Well, now, my period is 12 days late. I had some cramping, then nothing. No other symptoms, & i scheduled my doctor's appt weeks ago- & it's still not until this Friday. *****Baby Dust*****to all hoping to find out that this week is the week.

And I thought I crazy and alone.

I am fourteen days today and am never late. My cycle may change from 28 to 29 days but never MIA for two weeks.

At five days past I took a blood test that came back negative.

I still had bloating/nausea/frequent peeing/sensative taste and smell.

This morning I took a First Response Early Pregnancy Test and got a very faint positive at three minutes that lasted about 10.

This first person on their hotline I spoke to insisted this was a positive test. The second person said it's definately negative.

I see my doc wednesday for another blood test, crossing my fingers. It was heartbraking to believe for a few hours that I'm not crazy and I knew what was going on in my body.

Anyone get this faint positive? If so how did things turn out?

well... I took a blood test at 22 days late...got the test results back as bfn and then immediatly started my period twenty minutes later...totally crappy oh well gonna keep trying

Hello, it has been almost two months since I had my last period. Unfortunately, I have taken FIVE hpt's and they have all come back negative. I have a doctors appt. tomorrow and will hopefully get some better news. I agree that it is confusing, because I have so many of the symptoms. Oh well, maybe I will get the answers I am looking for tomorrow.

Hi Girls, I'm now up to about 40 days late for my period. Have had one tiny brown spot (last Wednesday) since my last period which started March 3, that is it. Have had all negative tests (2 blood and 5? hpts). Went for my u/s last Wednesday (in the afternoon after the spotting happened) but haven't got results back yet, tried to phone today but couldn't get through. Other than some bloating and some discharge I didn't really feel any different but my nipples have been pretty sore since late last week and I'm pooped. Monique, you must be gearing up for your u/s tomorrow!!! I just wanted to say that I hope that everything goes well for you and let us know what happens. I'm really curious about what they say -- it really sounds to me like you have something going on down there!!! Let us know if you see a little hand waving back to you on the monitor! :o) Take care everyone!
