Hi all.... I too am 5 weeks late...and going crazy. My period usually comes on the same day every month...so to not have a period since April 1...come on....7 hpt all negative.
I already have 2 kids and the hpt showed up positive right away...i don't have a ton of symptoms...just tired all the time...and sick to my stomach in the a.m. Went for a blood test this afternoon...will find out results after 10 am tomorrow. Mandy, I understand what you are going through; I haven't had a period in 10 weeks and I am only 23 years old. The only difference is that I took a pregnancy test and it came back positive. I made an appointment with a doctor and was given a pregnancy test and that test came back positive as well. That was 4 weeks ago. I went to the doctor today and had a u/s and the doctor could not find a baby. I was then given a vaginal u/s and the radiologist stated that they could not find a baby either. So not I am about confused as you are. My belly is growing and I have bought maternity clothes and even look like I could be 4 months pregnant. All I can offer is hope and prayer that things will turn out for the best for both of us.

Well...i just got the answer from the dr....blood test was negative...not sure what i should do now??

TO SUZTETTE- I got pregnant after the depo. They say that it may take up to t year to get pregnant, but I got pregnant as SOON as I got off of it. I had no idea that I was pregnant til I was 14.5 weeks, which made my situation AWFUL because I couldnt keep the babe and it was so late into the pregnancy. My boobs had gotten bigger but I didnt think I was pregnant because I didnt have a period on the depo so I never missed one, and I had no other symptoms. I didnt think anything of the boobs becauseof my age, I was only 20 so I just thought my body was going through some changes.

My husband had a vasctomy 2 years ago, and I stopped taking birth control pills in April. I had my period 5/10/05 and I am now 3 days late, I have never been late before so I am hoping and crossing my fingers I have taken 3 hpt all came up (-) so keep me in your prayers

Mandy..I have recently read all of your postings and my god girl..what you went through was awful. I just recently started to try to get pregnant and was hoping it worked this month. I am not due till the 15th but have been so bloated and cramping for over a week. Everyday I wake up and expect to get my period but nothing happens. My breasts are very sore, which typically doesnt happen to me during PMS anyway. THought you said at one point you were cramping as well but nothing ever came. How severe were your cramps? Some days mine come and go..and some days I sware they are so bad that I am getting my period..but again nothing. Just wasnt sure if that was a normal symptom of pregnancy. Any suggestions from anyone?

I get a little crampy, I am now 5 days late, my stomach has gotten tighter, I am really not that tired though, in the mornings I cant seem to wake up, I feel like I am going to throw up all the time, this morning I woke up and went and to pee then on my way to work I felt like I had to go so bad and when I finally did it was like nothing, last night we where at friends and I felt like the whole night I was running to the restroom... Deby on the crampy part, I feel slight cramping like I am going to start then nothing, please keep me posted

I had another urine test done at the doctor this week. Negative but the doctor told me that if I miss my second period to come back and they will do another test.

She couldn't tell me why I missed my period other than I am probably pregnant since I am ovulating normally, never missed a period before and all my hormones are normal.

I got one more week until I miss my second period. I would be 7 weeks and 6 days pregnant today (if I am)

Hi ladies......After my ultrasound camy back negative I than had a blood test. My blood test came back with a high amount of pregnacy hormone and come to find out I am still not pregnant. It has been 12 weeks since I had a period. Come to find out that I have a small cyst on my ovaries as well. The doctors say that it is very unusual to go without a period for so long and a positive urine test and still no signs of a baby on the ultra sound. I an more confused and scared as ever. I keep thinking about if I have some type of cancer or problem that is causing me to miss periods and it is making my life unhappy. I was really expecting on having a child when the doctor confirmed pregnacy through a urine test on my first doctor's appointment. But now I am thinking that I might have done something wrong to cause this. I have turned to a new doctor to find answers and maybe you ladies need a second opinion........Hope is still there ladies.....don't give up hope.

Deby- Yeah I would get period like cramps and assumed that it ment that my period would soon follow, but it never came. I never experienced cramping with any of my normal periods, so it was all new to me. They would come and go and some days were worse than others. I don't know if all pregnant women experience cramping because I can only speak for myself, but I definitely had them.

I finally had my period last Friday. But this time it is different from all the rest. Instead of having blood on a sanatary napkin it is only there after I use the restroom and wipe myself. It is very light blood untl today. Today seemed as if I was having all of my periods ever in one day. It only lasted for 2 minutes and now there is no blood at all. I was courious to see what would happen if I took a hpt now since the ones I had taken before came back poitive but there was not baby on the ultrasound. I took the hpt and it came back positive. I will be going back to the doctor on Wednesday to see if they have found anything. I am more confused as ever. Before when I thought I could be pregnant and took a hpt it always came out negative and I ended up not being pregnant, but when I take a hpt and it comes out positive and I am still not pregnant it driving me crazy........I need answers to calm my mind......Can any of you ladies help??????

Sharon W, I am have the same problem as you. I am almost three months late. neg results at home and doctors. I took a blood test and should get the results next week. Hopefully I find out the truth soon

Wow, and here I thought I was crazy. My last period started on 4/11/05. I've never missed a period in the 14 years I've been menstruating. I've taken 4HPTs and all of been negative and one Dr.s urine test which was also negative. They did a pelvic exam and then decided to do a blood test, which we are waiting on the results from.
I am very much aware of my body and all its various 'foibles', I usually know almost to the minute when I am ovulating, and am always on time for my periods, and now I have missed two consecutive periods, and jumped a clothing size. I am more tired than usual, am urinating many more times a day than before, but haven't had any breast tenderness and no morning sickness (I was ill a few evenings in a row) but my mother and sister also never experienced these things. The nurse practicioner acted like she didn't even want to do an exam after the urine test came back negative, and i am the one who had to suggest the blood test. Prior to the pelvic she did detect some abdominal tenderness. I just recently quit my job to return to college and don't have insurance. None of the Planned Parenthood's in my area will do a blood test, so my only option was this NP at a walk in clinic....Any suggestions??

Lady24, I'm in the same boat as you. I haven't had a period since 3/22/05. I have also taken 4 hpt and one urine test. I took the urine test at my planned parenthood all of them were neg. The doctor did not do an exam but I went in for a blood test I should get my results next week. I have been feeling tired, feel like i am going to vommit but haven't. I haven't gone up in size of pants but they were baggy before and now they are getting tight. The veins in my chest are a lot more visable. My mother told me that when she was pregnant with me she tested neggative at a doctors office. He gave her some pills to start her period, but she never did. She then went to another doctor after she was futher along and he told her that those pills could have caused problems with her pregnancy. The bad thing about it is that the doctor at planned parenthood wants me to take medication to start my period.

My last period was on April 28, 2005...but my cycles are usually very irregular. I was pregnant once before (this past November), but I had to have it removed cuz I had an empty sac. I was about 8 1/2 weeks pregnant when i had to have it removed. I was very upset but, I think that everything happens for a reason and it just wasn't meant to be at that time. I never really know when I'm going to get my period so it's hard for me to judge if I'm having pregnancy symptoms. Lately I've been feeling really tried and once in a while i feel a little nauseous and cramping. When I had my period on April 28, it ended on May 3rd...but about a week later, I spotted for one day in the afternoon and it stopped by night time. I thought it was a little strange but I just decided to ignore it. Being that I'm usually irregular, I assumed that I would get my period between May 30th-June 9th, but i haven't got it yet. I took a pregnancy test yesterday morning and it came up negative. I think I'm just going to wait it out a little longer and see if i get my period....but if I don't get it by the end of this month, I'm going to go to my doctor to be tested there.

Mandy~ Oh wow...your first post sounds so much like how I feel....I am only 3 weeks late, but if I go back and figure from the date of my last period I will be 7 weeks tomorrow.

I have taken 4 preg tests, all neg. I called my health dept (planned parent hood) and they told me to wait until after next week (I should have a (.) next week) and see what happens. man I hate the wait, let me tell you :). They did tell me I could come in and take one of their preg. tests, but that the HPTs I have been taking at home are just as good...I have never been preg before, but my good friend, whos son was a year in march, said she felt the same way...but all her tests came up pos :).

Oh yeah, congrats on your baby girl. I hope she brings joy to your life.

Does anybody know what the condition is called when the hCG hormone doesn't make it into your urine? Meaning you can take all the HPT's you want, but they will all come back neg? I have not had any blood tests yet, and probly will not be able to get one until after next week, when the (.) doesn't show up.
