Joannie, you might want to check out these websites: Thttp://www.healthsquare.com/newrx/pro1361.htm and http://www.rxlist.com/rxboard/provera.pl?read=210 They are very adamant about NOT taking Provera if you even suspect you are pregnant. There is alot more info on the web, too.

maybe you are but you got to go to the doc so they can take blood from you and they will tell you

Joannie - October 7th, 2005 3:05 PM

Just got back from the doc. I had another urine test, which was negative, and I asked her to humor me with a blood test. I will know on Monday.

Joannie - You should be careful in taking the medication right now. The baby could be affected by it if you are pregnant. When I missed my last period, I went to the doctor's and they gave me a urine test and it came out negative. They said my side effects of being tired and being nateous in the morning was due to having a sinus infection. The doctor could not explain why I had tender breast though. After they diagnosed me with a sinus infection, they gave me medication for it, but I didn't want to take it. Sometimes, doctors are not as helpful as I thought they would be.

On August 29 and 30 i went to the er with severe abdominal cramps. Started period on August 30. Had unprotected sex on Sept. 12. More severe cramps the 21 was told i had small cysts that ruptured and caused pain. My period is now a week late i have had slight cramps the last two weeks but nothing. Have been very sick to stomach, tired, starving. Have taken 2 HPTs both negative. Do you think i am pregnant?

Hey everyone, I just wanted to give an update on my story. I am proud to announce that I gave birth to a beautiful healthy baby girl last Friday, and I couldn't be any happier right now. She's perfect. She's brought so much joy into my life already. Now that she's here, I'm glad that I didn't give up. I had a feeling that I was pregnant, and it was a struggle with everything that I had to go through. I'm just glad that I was able to get an answer even though it took several weeks to finally find out that I was actually pregnant. For those of you who are going through everything that I went through, all I can say is hang in there. No one knows your body more than you do, so don't give up hope.

Mandy, Congratulations on your new baby girl! That is so excited! I have been so inspired by your story because I am having similar symptoms and would be 7 weeks right now. I have already missed one period, but the doctor said that I was not pregnant a couple of weeks ago after taking a urine test. I am so happy for you and appreciate the support you have given to us all!

Mandy: You story is a real inspiration. My wife and I have been trying off and on for over a year after she had a TR in Jan '04. She's never tested positive on any test. Yet, this cycle wsa lighter and darker that normal and she has every preggo symptom. We're not trying to get our hopes up and hope that this is the real deal. So far, 5 HPT's are negative. Last time we went through with this, we had the beta's done and as soon as we got the neg. results, she had her period. Her next AF is due on the 17th and we're crossing our fingers that she doesn't show. This would be her 5th and our 1st together.

Incidently, she's 35 and i'm 38 and more than ready for a child of our own. We're praying that this is it!

Amanda - October 8th, 2005 11:31 PM

Well AF started today but is very light. Anyone know if this would cause nipples to grow and darken. Or is it still possible i'm pregnant?

Holly - October 9th, 2005 12:34 AM

Congratulations Mandy so happy to hear your glorious news!!! What did you end up naming her? God bless you, and thanks again for your story!

Joannie - October 10th, 2005 3:22 PM

I called my doctor's office. They have the results but can't tell me what they are because my doc hasn't signed off on it yet and she is not in until tomorrow. Ugh!!!

Amanda - October 10th, 2005 5:43 PM

AF only lasted 2 days. I am so sick to my stomach. Somebody help me please?

Trisha - October 10th, 2005 11:06 PM

PLEASE!! i need to know what will happen if your preg. and you are taking your pills cuz your not sure uf your preg. (thats me) thank you!

to Trisha - October 10th, 2005 11:13 PM

I've done some research on that (and read about it in the info that comes with my pills). Taking the pill while pregnant won't cause any harm to the baby. But if you do find out you are preg, stop taking it of course. Don't worry and good luck!

Trisha - October 12th, 2005 12:21 AM

THANK YOU SO MUCH! for answering my question, that was so helpful and of course i will stop when i find out for sure. Again, Thank you so much i have writen in here quite a bit and you were the second reply ever to me, than you for answering my question.

Mandy - October 12th, 2005 10:34 PM

Holly- I had a few names that I was debating, but I finally decided on Shania Nicole.
