Michelle, You are having pregnancy symptoms and contraception isnt 100% effective so you could be pregnant but it also could be your body adjusting to this new pill. It can mess up your system. Wait another week and go to the doctors x

I would suggest getting off birth control then if you haven't already. I took birth control not knowing I was preg, and the doc said if could have been the cause of my miscarriage. BTW: my last period was 10/11/05, 3 hpt, all big fat -'s but no sign of my period. Dr. apt. on Monday, hopefully will get some answers!

XPinkX, I am definitely going to check out that website, Well I went to the doctors yesterday and asked for a blood test but the doctor give me a urine test anyways, well it came out neg. since then i havent had anymore symptons besides being extremley tired and wanting to sleep all the time, and still no period (this makes 13 days with out) i guess ill just wait until next month and see what happens im not going to stress anymore.

I think i am, I have all the symptoms and it all happend since a condom split on sept 2nd i havent had a period since 19th August 2005 but all the tests say negative.

Have you taken a blood test, or even an ultra sound?

I had a blood test in september but it was only two weeks afer the condom split and it came back negative. I am going to the doctors again tomorrow to ask for another. they are reluctant to give an ultra sound because i am giving negative test results. i had a trans vaginal scan and was told it was the wrong scan and it should have had a ultra sound but i have to wait for another appointment and that could be jan feb!

XPinkX, So you just playing the waiting game to huh? well im going to wait until the 6 of Dec to see if I get my period again if not then i will go get an ultra sound, I had more pregnancy symptoms over the last couple of days, ive been vomiting like crazy and gas ,this is very fustrating, but I hope everything goes well and keep me posted.

afternoon everyone, im just wondering its been about 7 weeks since my last period and i'm never late.. Usually if im worried i'd do a test and just relax with a negitive result and my periods would arrive a couple of days later. Although this time I done a test 2 weeks ago and it was negitive. I still havent got my periods im a bit confused... I've been getting light headaches and if i dont exactley 4 hours at a time im nearly collapsing ...and feel very weak.. im doing a test again this evening but im very confused as I have a little boy and when I was pregnant on him it showed up right a way and I was sick ???

i know how you feel my partner and my self have been trying for babies for over 3 years and still nothing has worked, ive just relise today that i have missed my period and feels like its been a while since i had it, ive had a little cramping though but did a preg test and showed neg. i'm hoping to try again in a few days and hope it's positive (if my period doesn't come) my breast are swollen and tender, i feel off wen i smell meat cooking and sort of started craving cigarettes again and have quit for over 3 years..........i think the best thing to do is to go to the drs and see what they find. Because i've been through that phrase so many times and am still trying so i best i can do is ask the doctor for advice and have a blood test and any other test that could help you out!

You should contact your doctor. This may be a sign of something more serious than pregnancy. You may need further tests. If it is pregnancy then at least your mind will be put at ease and you can begin prenatal care. You should definately make an appointment with a gyno/gyn or primary medical doctor.

Hi. I am new to this site. I have a question. I miscarried in late June of this year. I was 15 weeks pregnant. All pregnancy symptoms disappeared. Then in early September. I started having the same symptoms. The veins on my breasts were obvious again, but not dark nipples. I had a negative HPT and and went to the lab and had a blood test done. It was also negative - at "3" to be exact. Since then I had a strange heavy discharge similiar to with my first pregnancy but this had an odor. I let it go until now hoping it woudl go away. It didn't so I went to the doctor's office last week. He gave me an exam and told me my uterus was enlarged and extremely tender and that he did not like it. He asked if I coudl be pregnant. Of course, I reminded him about the blood test a few months ago. He said that didn't matter and that it could have been too soon. The way he sounded it was as though I was pregnant. Can't doctors tell at 12-13 weeks if you are pregnant by doing a pelvic exam? He was feeling the uterus for a good few minutes. He ordered another blood test and CBC etc...and gave me diflucan. The results are still not in I guess due to the holiday. They told me tomorrow they shoudl be done. The odor thank goodness is now gone, but the strange feeling as though I am clogged up down there is still present. I can't seem to hold in my stomach and I seriously look pregnant. It was strnage, but my breasts actually started burning and tingling today. I haven't had intercourse since late August. I am so confused.

Hi Sandy! Your story is pretty confusing! I am too going through a very odd time. I had a scan and i didnt have a full bladder when they scanned me and they said they cant see anything though i have had 4 faint positive hpt and the doctor thinks he heard a heart beat. I too look pregnant and i am waiting for blood tests results to come back. I have been told you should drink a pint and a half before you have a scan. I was going to have a trans vaginal scan at first but then it was changed. So i emptied by bladder when i shouldnt have?

hello to anybody i'm new i'm a mother of a 3 yr old and i lost had my thing on the 20 oct had 2 test a neg i feel like i'm pregnant but i don't know i has all the sings and every thing i'll wait a couple of days more and do a test agin

I am having a similar situation. I got off the birth control pill in September. My period came 5 days late for the month of October, and now, it has not come at all for the month of November. At this point, I am 4 weeks late. I've had 2 negative hpt's. My period was very irregular before I got on the pill, but once I got on it, it was normal. Around this time last year, I had stopped taking the pill and my period was coming normal and on time. I've had symptoms i.e. the nausea, nipples actually hurt, and a lot of cramping. Can I still be pregnant? I mean, there is a strong chance as I have unprotected sex with my boyfriend all the time. At this point, I'm very scared to find out that I am not pregnant. If my period used to be irregular before I ever got on the pill, is there a chance that it could go back to going that way? I actually made an appointment to see my gynecologist this coming Monday, but I am very impatient. Any help would be appreciated.
