I've been off depo since the beginning of May. Since September I have been feeling symptoms of pregnancy. nausea, vomiting, fatigue, sore breast. Since then I've taken hpt after hpt and they have all come back neg. In Oct. I went to a doctor that gave a urine pt and that was negative. I went to another doctor this month and that urine test was neg. Their explanation is that I am coming off the depo and so it is common for me not to have a period. However, while on depo I had some sort of bleeding each month. Even after I stopped I had some sort of bleeding. The last time I spotted was in August. My belly is beginning to protrude and my breast are still sore and have gotten larger. I am still feeling fatigue. I am becoming depressed, because I am feeling like I am just getting fat. My stomach is the only part of my body that is growing. I am 31 and I have a 3 year old. I was on depo before I had him. I stopped it. 6 months later I had a pos. hpt. Am I crazy. I truly feel like I am pregnant. How do I convince my doctor to go beyond the urine pt.

Xpinkx, I have been on the pill for 5 years in august i didnt realize that i was out of pills so when i went to order then they said i had to get in for another pap for a refill. That took about amonth for me to get my pills again. So i dont think that starting my pills again would have caused my weight gain. I have not taken a blood test, and have not thaken a preg test in about two months im tired of getting negitives. I have not gone to the doc. either. I have a obgyn apt. next month i think i may just wait till then, is that a bad idea? If i was preg. then i would be about 3-4 months along i think, and i have been on the pill for two of those months what will happen? How much does a person show at 3-4 months or do they? Again i am 130lbs and i am 5'5 i have always had pretty much a flat stomach not a 6 pack or anything not muscular but now i def. have a stomach. It sticks out and feels like i am super full. Whats your though and thank you so much for replying i truely appreciate it.

REPLY TO AMIRA: Its a tricky one...sometimes your body can mess up when you go or come off contraceptives... have you had a blood test? ask to see a different doctor and insit on a blood test

reply to hello! i understand- i am in the same boat i wasnt getting negatives but i have just got a positive and i have to go doctors today see what they say- i have had 5 positives now. I got my tests from ebay and its a midstream early preg tests from user: thenewyounet and it pciks up hcg as low as 10. i would be 4 months too and i appreciate how annoying it is! i actually feel pregnant and look pregnant aswell! its so difficult and in this day and age you would think it would be a simple procedure! See another doc and keep a diary! i am 5'5 and usually have a flat stomach too and it is sticking out and i never get this- i think i can feel the 'butterfly' feeling. have you had anything like that? also this other website i go on may be better i go on there often and you get more replies and people are really helpful.

Xpinkx, wow you went to the doc. what did the doc. say? I have felt something i dont know what it would be but what if it is just my head. I tried that web site you put on but it didnt work i would really like to go to that site so could you try to send it to me again please. Cant wait to hear what your doc said!

xpinkx, thank -you, i am still waiting im day 41 of my cycle, when I had my m/c we tracked all the hormones till it reached normal and I had a period inbetween

People have been pregnant though neg blood test- rear monique's pos! I dont know whats going on i have had watery pink blood blood test was spotting and not an actual period since 19th Aug! dont know what to do or think! lost...

monique, im in the same boat im at day 44 of my cycle now, all hpt's are negative and a bloot test at day 30 of my cycle was neg too! can you tell me what type of other tests they were going to run for you! as we are actively trying to get prego after our m/c two mos ago, is there any tests i should ask my doc to preform? if anyone has an answer or similar story please help me!

Is it true you were really pg all along? I am two and a half months late, have tremendously tender breasts, frequent urination, have gained weight in tummy so pants won't fit, but have had four negative hpts. What do you think?

MANDY gave birth in october she was pregnant I am too the same as you. Havent had a period since 19th Aug and my pants wont fit tho i have had 6 poistive hps and all negative blood tests. Have you had blood test are scan? I had to go private to get a scan done properly as NHS done it wrong and i didnt have a full bladder and have to wait until end of jan for another scan. Going private cost £100. Being preg though getting neg preg tests is alot more common than you think!

Mandy I was reading your story this past week. I had my period on November 6th. I was supposed to start on December 6th. I still haven't started so I am like almost 3 weeks late. I went to the doctor the 12th to have a blood test done. I got the resultsand my beta hcg was 1. I had to have my gall bladder removed on the 19th but before they did the surgery they did another blood test and it cameback negative. They did a qualitative test so don't know what the levels were. It's been a week since surgery and still nothing. Would the surgery have made me lose the baby if I was preg? I don't know if I was but if I was would I still be? or would it be okay? I am really confused. I can't take a hpt because I am visually impaired so the only choice that I have is to go to the doc or to let my mom or some one reda it for me. My husband and I are both blind. Can someone give me some information on this? I jsut don't know what to think because I don't know if the anasthesia would have killed the baby if it was there. Someone please help me out.

I have a question I'm hoping someone can answer? What does it mean to have 2 periods in one month? I've never had that happen before and me and my Fiance are trying to conceive. Is this bad? I didnt get my period at all in Nov and for a while i thought i was pregnant until i got my period early Dec. 3. Then yesterday i started bleeding again out of nowwhere I can usually feel my period coming, i get cramps and just get that feeling, yesterday i didnt know i got my period until i went to the restroom, an answer would be very appreciative. thanks
