Venessa have you done preg test? or have you had a blood test

Pink, When i went to the doctor he gave me urine test and it came out neg. for some reason i ask for a blood test and he wont give me one and lately i have been feeling queasy around the same time every day, its always around 5 in the afternoon i dont know why i keep feeling like that the doctor wants me to go back to his office when i get my period to take some more test? is that normal

Hey all! My doc appt was yesterday at 200 and around 1230 I went to the bathroom and I started my period!!!!! I was SOOO HAPPY!!!!! I know its not the best of news for those who are trying but for me, it was the best possible outcome. The doc told me not to come in this time because thats what we were waiting for but if I have any further problems to keep track and reschedule. I guess sometimes stress really DOES affect our cycles, which I have never experienced until now. (I found out my mom had cancer and that I might have heart problems around the same time that my husband and I had been intimate and had a condom mishap!) So there was definitely stress (and obviously that was the reason!) but how ironic huh? Whew...

Yeah I went for an ultra sound of my abdomin and my uteris and ovaries today. I guess I will just have to wait and see what that comesout like. I drank a coke today and afterwards felt really sick, like I was going to throw up. Sorry if tmi. This hasn't happened before, but then again I don't drink coke often. I usually drink sprite. I really don't think I am pregnant since all of my tests have been negative. Also I have no symptoms and I should have some by now? It's been November since my last period. The only thing that I have is my left nipple is tender but everything else is fine. Shouldn't I be nautious, and both boobs be tender? The whole thing isn't, just the nipple on my left boob. So I'll keep you guys informed on how the scan went.

Shouldn't the whole boob be tender and with both of them? That is really the only thing that I have noticed differently and shouldn't I have a lot more symptoms by now? My last period was at the first of November. I don't know, I've never been pregnant before so I don't know what it's like. My husband and I want one, but I don't think I am. So I know I'm not tricking myself into thinking that I am. Maybe I am just wierd? Anyway, I will let you guys know what I find out from the scan.

It's nice to see a male write and partake after all they are 50 % involved,LOL. Cutos to you for being supportive to your partner. My husband and I have been trying for a second child after a miscarriage a few months ago. Last cycle of mine went into day 47 so 5-6 weeks late. The days seemed so long and I consumed most of my day wishing, hoping i was pg, although all tests including blood were neg. they say not to stress about it but come on how can you not ! every waking minute i was hoping to be, as im sure you guys are feeling now. half hour before my scheduled appt. to test fertility problems no kidding af showed up. Now were back to square one just another month away. So keep your spirits up and good -luck to you both and I think your spouse is really lucky to have someone who is involved. well i dont have an answer i have a question i am 20 yrs old my last period was oct 7th through the 14th. i got back to fl oct 15 after being away from my boyfriend for 4 months. now till this day jan 10, 2006 i have not gotten my period and i have all the symtoms except for nausea, cravings, frequent urinating, ive gaine about 5-10 lbs, breast soreness. ive taken 4 hpt all negative, 2 at the doctors office both negative, and now i have an appt on friday, i dont know what to think anymore im so confused. i spoke to a nurse over the phone she said most likely that im not pregnant but after mandy's story i have haope. i do hope i am pregnant. i have no health insurance so im paying for everything out of pocket and my boyfriend isnt helping me because he doesnt think i am pregnant but he starting to see that i am gaining weight he notice on saturday but i am really getting worried i need some advice HELP ME PLEASE!! u can email me at jasygreeneyez@yahoo.com

Hi Venessa, I would go A&E and say you are getting tummy aches you have missed you period and you got a couple of positive preg tests and the rest negative. Say you feel different and your getting sickness and your really worried you might be pregnant. They have to give you a blood test coz you have had positive preg urine tests. Say you got them two days in between. I know its lying but its the only way some times. I still havent got any answers and at the beginning of it all i had sickness in the evening around 5pm. I foudn i got my posiitve tests in the evening too so try doing a urine test about 8pm. The wierd thing about me is that i have had 8 posiitve preg tests now and whne i have scans they cant see any sign of pregnancy! before it was that i wasnt getting any. Even the doctors have had positive when they tested me. My blood test was negative.

jasmyn you may be pregnant you need a blood test- not every women gets a positive straight away it can take weeks.. my cousin and aunty never got a positive blood or urine test and they were both pregnant. Ypu may have PCOS which causes weight gaun but you do need a hormonal blood test to see whats going on. Try taking water retention tablets for the bloating... see a doctor tho x

Thats what i did and i saw a gyno straight away. Just say your not keeping anything down and your getting tummy aches. say you are trying for a baby and you have had a couple of poisitives and a few negatives. you have had no bleeding. She might do a internal examination and if its not clear by that (your insides change colour to a blue or purple colour) she will arrange for a blood test. Be stern. let me know x

hey ladies how are you guyz im kinda new at this im still kind of scared i havent had my period in almost 3 months im still worried i do want a baby but i just hate wondering the weight im gaining is not allover its just in my belly and thighs i saw a fiend i havent seen in a long time and she said omg i didnt know u were pregnant i told her im not she felt so bad she kept saying sorry and ive been so moody so sleepy i go to bed early and i wake up still so sleepy i dont know whats wrong i got a pap smear done dec 6th and my doctor just did the routine checked for cervical cancer scaped the walls of my cervix and tol me i had a slight yeast infection and thats all nothing else so i want to get another one done or else just go ahead and get a u/s well i got my result from the pap smear and everything came back fine everything negative but my big problem is i no medical coverage i dont know what to do i have some signs but not all and reading mandys story it gave me some hope that i could still probably be pregnant please help me im really starting to stress but im trying not to

hi everyone can anyone tell me what PCOS is? I am new and I was reading the posts and I didn't know.
and by the way my situation is like most of u. my last period was on nov05 and untill 3 days a go, i didn't have anything, but 3 days ago I spotted a brownish blood, the spotting lasted for 2 days and it stopped complitely today. I have taken 5 hpt till last week which were all N . some back pain and headaches. nausia, tired, no bobsoreness, blowted.. NO INSUANCE either, but after this brown spoting i git an appointement with an obgyn on the 18th, i hope to be prg .
I am so thin and tiny , does the level of hormones depend on the body built? I am just so disapointed with the hpt , I hope to get a positive blood test. I don't know what i should tell doc to do the blood test right away and not the urine test. any sugestions would be helpfull.tnx

PCOS Symptoms are: but they vary with people and they are very rare- i would only think you had this is if you had irregular periods before these months.

infertility
irregular or absent periods
excess hair on the face and/or body
male-pattern hair thinning
acne
obesity
lipid abnormalities

Also, my cousin and aunty and nan didnt have any pos preg tests and were told they all were having phantoms. my cousin had a scan at 20 weeks and she was preg and showed she was having a baby and my aunty and nan gave birth to healthy babies- it happens dont let docs tell you its impossible- ITS NOT!

Hey everyone....well it has been nearly 11 weeks and still no sign of AF. just to recap...I went to the doctor on dec 23 and did a urine test that was negative. My LMP was on Oct 30. I have an appointment to see my doctor again on saturday and will be asking for a blood test. I have tons of symptoms & I hope i am pregnant, but if i am not then i will just keep ttc. This is the first time i have ever missed my period.
