Hi everyone im new to this syte, i've been reading everyone questions and comments they can be very helpful, so I hope someone can help me.... My periods not due till tomoro but i took 2 pregnancy test two days ago which were a very faint positive, then yesterday got a blood test from the doc which was also a very faint positive. So I know its early days that could be why, but I've been experiencing cramps and slight stabbing pains, I've had a miscarriage then a stillborn at 41 1/2 weeks then my beautiful 5 yr old daughter then another miscarriage. I'm just so scared to lose another baby and go through that pain, is it normal to experience pain, cramps in early pregnancy and is my result low cos im losing my baby or cos it's too early, please any information may help, i need to ease my mind thank you... ?

I had a missed m/c in may and than a chemical pregnancy in June of 2006 and than got pregnant in september, I suffered from sharp pains and cramps and of course freaked right out. I am currently 17 weeks and 4 days and the baby is doing great but I still worry. The pain was so bad I went to the dr who sent me to emergency because of the pain. Good luck to you and your wee one

Any caring mother worries. It's normal for you to feel that way, especially since you've experienced what you've experienced. A faint positive line however does not determine miscarriage. It simply means not enough hormones have been detected just quite yet. The hormones increase as time passes. I experienced cramps and lower backpain, severe early on...and now I'm at 12 weeks. Best believe I worried then, just like I worried a little today...I had some slight pinkish tinge discharge when I wiped (sorry if TMI just trying to share with you). If you're worried, try to set up an appointment with your doctor, who of course knows your previous history with pregnancies, and he can check to make sure everything is up to tune. Good luck with everything. Congratulations. :-D
