Are Faint Positive Lines Valid?!!??

Hi there,

I'm 6 days late in my period so I bought 2 different pregnancy tests yesterday from the dollar store and this morning I took one pregnancy test and a dark pink/purple line showed up in the C, and then a 2nd faint pink/purple line showed up in the T within the 10 min validity period. I wasn't sure so I took another test which had a 5 minute validity, and the same results appeared in that as well, within 3 mins I could see the faint line. Please someone tell me have they gotten faint lines and really ended up pregnant before?? I took the same dollar tree store test last yr when I thought I was pregnant, and there were no 2nd lines at all..not even faint ones, it was def negative. Could it be that I'm pregnant?? My hubby said yesterday he'd be so happy if I was pregnant, I really hope this time this is it.....waiting for your guys reply!!!!

I think congrats are in order!!! I got a faint line with my now 15 month old on a dollar store test as well.

I agree Ive done thousands of tests and when your not pregnant NOTHING SHOWS lol! congrats! although you should go and check with the doc, my friend thought she was pregnant because she had a low level of HCG shown in her blood test but she wasn't. My sister in law how ever had a very faint line and she now has a 7 week old!

From my personal experience: CONGRATS! No matter how faint the line it's a positive if it shows up in the time allowed. It could just be very faint because ofthe low HCG in your blood. Hope all is well.
