Best Time Of Day To Test Progesterone?

Hello, I've read in several posts that progesterone levels vary during the day; is there a certain time of day that is better to test, or does it just change without rhyme or reason? Thanks for your help.

This past cycle I had my progesterone tested twice and my dr wasn't as concerned about the time of day I was there as much as she was the time in my cycle. I was going to confirm O. I went on day 6-7dpo of my 'normal' cycle length and was told levels too low, no O, come back in a week. Went back in a week and was told levels were up, O. So she was definitely concerned about timing but not in the day just of the day.
