Look people, the instructions say DO NOT LOOK AT THE LINES. THEY HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH IT. Jeez you people should learn to read! Go by the digital read out!!

Don't buy the digital tests, it gave me a not pregnant when i was. I did a normal test after i saw the two blue lines and i'm now 17 weeks pregnant.
LAUREN, if it bothers you so much don't read it and there is no need to be so bitchy, i had a negative result with two blue lines and was actually pregnant, I'm glad i ignored the instructions and double checked.

If you go to peeonastick.com. you can read up more about why you can get 2 lines on the digital test, but not be pregnant. Basically, the digital tests work differently from the normal '2 line tests'. 2 lines on the digital are to be disregarded, as the test 'happens' to also detect some other hormone (?) which most women have in their system, also when not pregnant. For details see, what the site says. (But when I was pregnant, I got a positive digital reading and had 2 lines when I took it apart.)

I am am about a week late and I used the clear blue easy regular test not the digital and it came out negative. How long should I wait before I take another test?

Wait about 2 Days your HCG level may not be high enough for it to be detected yet. I was so scared I took one everyday, for 2 weeks and it finally came up pregnante.I am 9 weeks and 5 days today....Good luck to you and try the EPT error proof test that is the one that came up pregnate for me!!!

Well, my girl friend has missed her period for 3 days and took a clear blue easy digital test yesterday. The first one she took was positive and had one dark line and a light colored line, we then waited to take the 2nd test 1 hour later and it came up non pregnant with the same lines appearing. Well, after all this we went and got a different digital test, looked to be the same exact thing except its a EPT brand and she came up positive. I just turned 24, and she's 19 and just took a job as a LPN nurse, we are so scared right now. She has no symptoms of being pregnant, just late. She has been on the pill since Nov '04 and we use condoms "most" of the time. I have only gone inside her at the most 3 times last month, or since her last period. Anyone have any suggestions, i can't sleep or thing about anything but my girl and our situation.

Has anyone here tested negative with the digital test before AF was due and you did end up being pregnant anyways? reason I ask is AF is due tomorrow and this morning I took the digital and recieved a Not Pregnant reading, I have ALL the symptoms I had with my first baby and I just have that feeling that I am pregnant, and I was curious if anyone recieved a not pregnant with this test if you took it early (even though the box says you can!) and still ended up pregnant.

How many weeks do you have to wait before you get a positive? I may be five weeks but still get a - ?

When I took the Clear Blue Easy Digital test the result were amazing. It didn't even take three minutes before it said Pregnant, and nine months later I had a beautiful daughter Jessica.

i have just done a clear blue digital test aswell and 2 lines appeard in less than 3 mins 1 is faint but the not pregant or pregnant sign didnt even come up

I HAVE TAKEN 2 CBE DIGITAL TESTS AND GOT PREGNANT AND TWO DARK BLUE LINES BOTH TIMES! I HAVE TAKEN TWO FIRST RESPONSE AND GOT ONE DARK LINE AND ONE FAINT LINE EACH TIME! I HAD THE SAME RESULTS WITH MY FIRST PREGNANCY.

you must only read what the digital says. Those lines show up all the time, but you only go by what the digital read says. I too had the same thing, but I went by the digital part, and i am infact pregnant. I tested 2 days before my period, and Wham, i'm pregnant. Don't get confused about the 2 lines, because they're there anyways. I know it's confusing, but only trust what the digital read says!

Chris - three times is plenty to get pregnant for some people. But it sounds like she knows where she wants to go in life, since she's already gone to school to be an LPN. It's good money, and can be very flexible hours. I hope everything works out for you.

in the directions it says these lines have no relevance to the test being positive or negative.

After 2 negative first responses and 2 faint EPT's.... clearblue digital said pregnant loud and clear BEFORE time was up for me. I took it 4 days past af. (and I took another one days later-same result). I will only use it from now on.....it was sooooo easy!!
