After 2 negative first responses and 2 faint EPT's.... clearblue digital said pregnant loud and clear BEFORE time was up for me. I took it 4 days past af. (and I took another one days later-same result). I will only use it from now on.....it was sooooo easy!!

Im am exactly where you're at. I took a test just awhile ago and have 2 blue lines. I dont know anymore than I did before I took the test. I did however call the help line and was told that the faint line means nothing. But, if the tests picks up the dark blue line maybe it couldnt read the faint 2nd line. All my other pregnancies showed a real faint 2nd line, so now Im confused and wished I wouldve bought the cheap equate test!

I have taken the test and 6 days is not too early to tade it. I was only one day late and I got a positive result.

2 lines but 'not pregnant' - July 27th, 2005 1:48 PM

If you just used THE DIGITAL TEST and had a "NOT PREGNANT" RESULT but had TWO BLUES LINES appear, I recommend going to WWW.PEEONASTICK.COM for more answers. It really helped clear things up for me. As made obvious from all of these posts, this test can be a bit confusing and can potentially add some stress for women who are trying to conceive. Yes, it says that you should IGNORE THE LINES; however, that is, unfortunately, easier said than done. Quite a few women on this posting have testified that they were in fact pregnant when the test indicated "not pregnant". Unfortunately, it seems that most people will have two blue lines (one dark and one varing degrees of intesity) regardless of whether they are pregnant or not. Also unfortunte is that the test isn't as sensitive (50 mIU/mL according to the rep I just spoke to) as other tests, therefore it may indicate 'not pregnant' when you are in fact pregnant. I know that some people really like this test, but I have had better peice of mind with the tradition ones. It seems a bit questionable of this company to put out a test that shows two lines (usually associated with a positive pregnant result) therefore creating more confusion and anxiety at what can be an already somewhat difficult time. Good luck everyone and check out www.peeonastick.com.

Sanita - August 9th, 2005 12:31 AM

Okay what's going on the same thing just happened to me. I haven't had my cycle since June, so I needed this test to help me out.

emma - August 9th, 2005 10:07 AM

do you mean you have had false posatives or one blue line for negative??? the best thing for you to do is get another brand or the normal clear blue. i hope whatever the result you are wishing for makes you happy

Valen - August 16th, 2005 11:28 AM

I had the same thing happen and I called the 1800 # and they said the lines don't mean anything but I haven't heard good things about these tests!

emma - August 16th, 2005 4:02 PM

i have stopped using clear blue digital (absolute crap!) all the false hopes were driving me nuts. i was on depo injection which is why its taking me a while to get preg. found some cheap tests which they use at chemists for testing its called EARLY DETECTION BY ACON. you can only test on day of missed period tho. cost me £17.00 for 20 test strips. bargain!! any one else been on DEPO INJECTION (PILL)??? DONT!!! regaining your fertility is a nightmare. 18 month so far for me its such heart ache.

Hey guys I recently just took a "clear blue digital test" and it said "not pregnant" but Im almost 3 weeks late.. Can anyone tell me if this test is reliable or have any advice for me... Im still worried? Thanks

Mrs. Mullen - August 18th, 2005 8:26 PM

I took a clear Blue Easy digital test today and I got a "pregnant" in the window. I ejected the stick and there were 2 VERY dark lines...of course, i took this same brand a few months ago, with a negative result, and i STILL got 2 dark lines, so don't rely totally on the lines...if you have any doubt, just use the E.P.T. or a similar test...

Jody - August 19th, 2005 1:55 AM

It's so odd that I ran across this. I took the digital test today (I am 5 days late) and it also said not pregnant. I didn't even think to look at the lines, but when I read that yours had two blue lines, I fished mine out of the trash, and mine also had two blue lines. I also have one more test left, and am going to wait a few more days. I did take another test a couple of days ago and it had the faintest positive result, so I figured this would give me more "accurate" results. I guess that's not the case.....Good luck to you!!

emma - August 19th, 2005 5:35 AM

JODY, I think you will be pregnant if you have done a regular hpt too. but in future dont by digital. int the last six mnth i have had 5 PREGNANT results which when tested again at doc's was negative. i hope you get the result you want chicken, all the best *emma*
