I thought I had all the symptoms too! It turned out to be just bad PMS and my blood work came out negative. I guess we will just have to try again!

Laura - October 2nd, 2004 12:40 PM

I have had something strange happen... I tested several days ago, It said not pregnant. I tested again yesterday and it said pregnant with two blue lines. So I tested with first morning urine and it said not pregnant w/two blue lines. So I made my husbad go out and get a second test but VERY fait?? Any ideas it is the weekend so I have to wait for a doctors appointment (got the positive on a friday night sheesh) I'm so on a rollercoaster right now!!!

If you got two blue lines, faint or not, on a regular test-NOT DIGITAL-I would assume you are pregnant. You will have to wait until you see the doctor but I would guess you are going to be a mommy.

Emma - Yea it cut off part of my last posting. I got a First Response test the second time around and that was the one that was faint. I am just soooo confused! First "Not Pregnant" on the digital then "Pregnant" then "Not Pregnant" again and then a faint line on a regular HPT AHHHH she susspense is killing me :-)

I would just take care of yourself and assume you are pregnant until you are told otherwise. Good luck and I wish the best for you!

I peed on another First Response with first morning urine this morning and it was negitive... I think I have/had a chemical pregnancy and it isn't going to take :-( I'll keep all posted.

How soon after I take a test can I take another?

Emma - October 5th, 2004 7:31 PM

Lindsey-I would wait at least three days before you take another test.

Hi all... went to the doctor on monday and had a HcG level done as welll as an ultrasound. Saw a VERY small sac on the ultrasound... no more than a week or two old. My HcG level was only 14!! So because it was so low i had to repeat the test today and it came back at 24. It is going up which is good (doubled in 48 hours) however anything under 100 they say isn't viable so I have to go in for another HcG on friday to make sure my levels are still going up. AHHHH I hate waiting!!!

Emma - October 7th, 2004 11:03 AM

Laura-I think that is wonderful! I hope everything continues to well!

Laura - October 10th, 2004 7:53 AM

Update, yesterday I started officialy misscaring. I had a third HcG level that came back at a 26, same as 48 hours before. I started spoting then the next morning it was heavy with horriable cramping. I'm still hopeful for next time and in a strange way I'm happy I knew about this one even though it was early. Best of luck to everyone else!!

the test worked for me when i used it and i'm only two days late but i have been sick so i tried it and in just two minutes i found out that i'm about to have my second child after seven years of trying to have one

Just fyi...the digital tests measure hcg and LH (lutenizing hormone) that is why sometimes you will get 2 lines even if you aren't pregnant. Check out www.peeonastick.com and she does a whole section about digitals...

I done a digital test on Monday and it said not pregnant, i done one today (thursday) and it said pregnant. and when i took the cartridges out both times i also saw the two lines which made me presume that both times should have been positive.

I had the same thing with EPT test. Digital screen said NOT PREGRANT but when i pulled the stick out it had one blue line and one very very very very faint blue line... i was confused... (still slightly suspicious) I only feel nausea.. but that could be because I started using the crest whitestrips and i swallowed the gell the first 2 days i used it. Aside from that no other symptoms. But the clearblue website and EPT websites tell u to disregard the lines. And When i first went to the clearblue site, i clicked around and read about if u see a line even if it's faint ur preggie.. well if u click CAREFULLY and CORRECTLY .. the digital test.. it said to read the display and mentions nothing about readign lines and since it said to disregard the lines.. disregard them.. but to be on the safeside.. i think everyone should try witht eh first response test first and also if ur gonna just stick to digital use ept. the brand is better or use both ept and clearblue.. I mean it's pricey but better than wrecking ur brain and worrying. Good luck guys. I'm going to wait another week or two adn test again.
