Quick (well not so quick, sorry) and dirty: I accidentally missed two consecutive bc pills last month. My fiance and I do not use a backup method. I was supposed to start my period three days ago, which is when I started taking the placebos in my pack but it never started, and I'm not even spotting. I have been having flu-like symptoms for the past week or so, the most noticeable being a terrible headache that never goes away, other than that, nausea and occasional vomiting, but very little. The other most noticeable symptom has been the fatigue. I've slept for probably 60 hours this week alone. My breasts are tender, but they usually are before I have my period so I'm not sure if that's an actual symptom. I took a pregnancy test (First Response) yesterday and today and they both came out negative. I'm really confused as to what is going on because I am usually a very heavy bleeder and start right away. Is there any way I could be pregnant and have a negative response? Also, my doctor is a last resort because I have little insurance to go elsewhere and she's an idiot. :D Any ideas on how to stop wasting money on tests?

3 days late isn't always enough time for you to build up enough pregnancy hormone to be caught by a home pregnancy test. If you haven't had your period by now, try another test, this time taken first thing in the morning (most concentrated). There's no need to be testing more often then every 3 days.

Malica, I seem to be following you. And I agree. As for the sore breasts, do they hurt when someone looks at them? I swear mine did the first time around. Wait a little while and take a test as soon as you wake up.
I was 2 months pregnant this time around when I took a test, but I'm irregular. Spotting, for me, sometimes is my monthly period.
