Faint Negative Tests But Still Late

This is the first month my husband and I don't try to "not have" a baby. My last period was sometime in early or mid April (fuzzy on the dates). I am usually very regular, clock work actually and still haven't gotten it for month of May. I've taken a few tests and they either come back faint negative or nothing at all. I spotted just a bit on Saturday and it only lasted the day. This is nothing of what I experience every month so I went to the doctor yesterday and took a urine and blood test. The urine tested negative, but it was 4pm and I downed a 40oz soda before thinking it would help me pee!
My question is: Can I be pregnant? can the urine test at the doctor be negative and the blood test show positive? I'm still waiting on blood results. I feel that my body is off- I'm extra tired, I've had a few food aversions (sooo not me) and the spotting had never happened to me before.
HELP!
