False Negative--This Happend To Anyone Else?

hi, my husband and i have been trying to get pregnant for many months now. we have been using hormone shots to help with ovulation. i know that i ovulated and my husband and i have been having sex everyday. but, the pregnancy test says negative. is it just to early to tell (its been 8 days)or am i just not pregnant?

Sounds like you're testing too early. I wouldn't test before 10 dpo. Waiting for a missed period is the best way to go. Good luck.

Clindholm is right, 8 days past ovulation(dpo) is early to test. Its best to wait until you miss a period and then test. But, I got a positive with my daughter at 12 days past ovulation using a First Response Early Test. The egg implants about 6 to 10 dpo and once it implants hcg starts to be produced and then it still has to rise enough for the test to detect it.

hi ladies, af was due yesterday but did not show up, i took a home pregnancy test this morning and it was negative, am confused whether not am pregnant. i have carried out three other tests on tuesday and yesterday with faint pink line showing but the test today did not show any line. please i need your advise as am confused, could i be preggo with the faintpink line?
