So I took a pregnancy test on Saturday afternoon and surprisingly, it came out positive! After I broke the news to my husband, I decided to schedule an appointment at a pregnancy center. But there, I took another test and they said I was negative! I am going to go get blood work done on Thursday, but I'm incredibly impatient and I'm curious as to what just happened. I took depo for awhile, had my first shot in August and another in October, but since January (when the next shot was due) we've been using condoms. However, I haven't had a period since August! What could possibly be going on with me? Anyone have any similar situations?

Have you retested at home just to see if their test may have been done worng?

Yeah I did and it was negative, and I tested it the same way I did the first one. I'm sure I'll find out soon. Is it possible to have a miscarriage without any symptoms?

Ok--update. I went to the doctor and they had me take a very sensitve urine test. Negative. But, I found out I had a yeast infection and the doctor said that a yeast infection can cause a false positive. I have been researching and everywhere else says that yeast infections can't do that. I'm confused! Although I don't think I'm pregnant now, I don't think a yeast infection can cause a false positive. Any ideas??

Wow, that's weird. I wonder if it was a bum test or maybe if you did get preg, it just did not implant causing you to get the positive then the negative. Did they think it odd that have not gotten your period back yet?
