Ok, so my period was 2 days late. Then I thought I got it but it was only very faint spotting and that was it. It was not even the regular texture or colour (sorry to be so graphic). I do have the cramps though. Anyone know if this means anything?

I am 9 days late and have been off birth control for six months now. I took a pregnancy test at four days late and I got a neg. result. I've been holding off from taking another test but I don't know what to do. I've got a lot of discharge and some nausea and periods of mild cramping are some of these symtoms signs of pregnancy. Please help..should I take a pregnancy test and when should I take one? Thanks Pink

Hello everybody. This is my first time writing. It's sooooo comforting to hear everybodys' problem with negative tests when they are late. I have irregular cycles lasting from days 29 to 32. Today is day 35 and I've had two negative results. I don't have sore breasts but slight cramping and occasionally I've had a sharp pain in my stomach lasting a few seconds. I puked on day 27 but I did the same thing last month but wasn't pregnant. Can you be pregnant and not have sore breasts and the only symptoms are slight cramps and bloated feeling? I'd love to hear from somebody-anybody! My husband and I have been trying for a while and everytime I find out I'm not pregnant I'm so depressed. I went to my doctor and showed her my chart of my temperature, cervix position, cervical mucus, etc. And she basically made me feel like I'm crazy for watching everything so closely. I haven't gone for a blood test yet because I'm scared it will too be negative.

This is what my doctor told me so hopefully it helps a little. I am going through pretty much the same things as you are, even with the puking and everything. So I sopke to my doctor and she said that I should hold off taking a test for even up to two weeks after my missed/light period. That way your body has time to adjust to the changes if you are pregnant and for some people detection won't happen even after a missed period depending on you body. She also said that everyone is unique so the best thing to do it wait and see. Which of course is the hardest thing to do. My husband and I have also been tryong for a long time but were told it can take up to one and a half years to get pregnant (since we are between the ages of 25 & 35). So we just keep trying. Anyways, I hope it all works out for you. I am glad that we can all relate to each other.
I also chart everyting just like you so don't feel too alone on that one.
As for the sore breasts, well, I knew a girl who was pregnant for three months and didn't even know it. She had no symptoms at all except weight gain so maybe you are pregnant.

i am currently on 100mg of clomid on cycle 6. cycle usally lasts about 34/35 days. ovulated between day 21 and day 28. now day 38 and all my 7 tests are negitive got to go for blood test on day 42 ive been trying for 4 years now. i have also been experiencing most of the symptoms. best of luck to both of us. let me know your results.

Hi everyone, I thought I was the only one going through this until I saw this website. I'm currently trying for my second child. My periods usualy last 30 -32 days, and I'm currently on day 41 and no sign of a period. I've done 3 hpt, all negative. I've also had a blood test, but I was only a couple of days late then, that also came back negative. I'm going to see my doctor in a couple of days, and take another blood test. This waiting is absolutely killing me. It's just nice knowing there are other people out there who know what I'm going through. Wishing you all the best. Keep you posted...

Hi Terry =) I am 9 days late and have done about 5 hpt and 2 blood tests and both came out negative. I've never been late in my life except for when i had my 2 children. I did read about one of the ladies that also had two blood test, which were negative, and three weeks later she found out whe was pregnant. Good Luck.

Thanks Patty. That was nice to hear, I guess there may still be hope for some of us yet. Anyway I'll be seeing my doctor tomorrow, so we'll see what happens then. :)

I am on my first cycle of clomid, I am very regular, 28 days. I am now at day 33 and absolutely no signs of my period. Has anyone been on clomid and progesterone gel that has made there cycle longer than normal. Since we have been trying for 2-1/2 years this is too much to handle. In my 17 years of having a normal on time period, this seems strange and gives me false hope.

We've been ttc for 5 years - going for assisted conception next but have to wait for period to start. Am about 6 days late with a negative hpt! Hoping it is not stress that is delaying things, but would be over the moon if I am pregnant after all this time. Will wait a couple more days then take advise from my doctor.

My husband and I have been trying for our 3 child for 6 months now. I am 6 days late today and have taken 3 prego tests, all came back negative! This is an emotional rollercoaster! When should I call for a blood test?

I had a negative home pregnancy test when I was 7 days late. I waited another 7 days and got a positive which I am anxiously waiting to be confirmed by a blood test. Perhaps you ovulated later than normal. Wait a week and try again. Best of Luck!

Hi guys, Well 2nd blood test came back a big fat negative again. Boo hoo. Doc said to wait for my period to come, I may not have ovulated at all last month, hence the late period. She said if they don't come by jan to go and see her. Oh the waiting, it's sooooooooooooooooooooooo frustrating. Best of luck to the rest of you. Let you know if and when it happens. PS.

Hi Terri, I am still ten days late and no period. i took another HPT yesterday and nothing. I had no idea that you could not ovulate at all. That has never happened to me before. Did the doctor say it was okay not to have your period for a few months?
