Hey everyone, this morning, I took my first pregnancy test it came back negative. I am baffled by this, as I have seriously bad and uncommon heartburn, my boobs have montgomery's tubercules all over them, and i get headaches and backache, not to mention the fact that my fiance and i have been having unprotected sex every day for the last month at least once as we are trying for a baby. I am now 10 days late for my period. I presume the negative result is due to hormone levels. How frustrating. I don't know what to do. I was somewhat upset when it came out negative, but I just KNOW that I am pregnant.

Hey ladies. I posted a bunch last week. My blood test is negative...oh well. We weren't planning for a child anyway. But I have one question....where the heck is my period???????

HI Kelly, In the same boat as you are. Well I've been pretty regular for as long as I remember, I'm now 5 days late. I took a HPT and it was negative. I have another HPT I'll take again on Friday to see what happens. It's very frustrating. Like I haven't had any symptoms though, well I was feeling lightheaded and dizzy off and on for awhile there but I'm just getting off of a cold too. Plus I'm alittle stressed. Hopefully I get Aunt Flo soon, hehee.

I'm so glad I found this site. My late period was Dec, 4. The only time I have ever been late for my period is with my son. I have become obsessed with hpt's but tomorrow I'm going in for a blood test. I hope for the best for everyone.

Hello, Glad to know that I am not the only one out there with low HCG. I am now 7 dyas late, 2hpts negative, 1 blood negative. My doctor says wait 5 more days and do another blood...I have 2 children and with both, I showed negative until 6weeks with the first and 8 weeks with the second..Any one else have these problems?

hey everyone, i talked to my Mum yesterday - she told me that she had negative blood tests with me until she was 10 weeks pregnant, 8 wks with my sister and 10 weeks with my brother. Go figure! yes, that was several years ago, but still. I've read on some of the other threads that other women have experienced this also. All we can do is wait it out I guess...... hard as it is!

I am also 3 days late, and I took a home pregnacy test (first response) which supposedly can detect pregnacy 4 days before your period. Anyhow the test came out negative, but I am totally confused because I feel all the symtoms of pregnacy such as constant peeing, the feeling that you are going to throw up. I'm wondering if I took the test too early, or maybe if I shouldn't drank water and then taken the test. But I am going to wait until next friday, and then probably go to the doctor, to see if I am pregnant. My period usually is here by the 21 the latest it ever been is the 24 and that was last month, which I thought i was pregnant then but out of the blue I got it. But I'm relieved to see its not just me who has the negative HPT. But seeing that negative test really was devasting for me, I started to cry..... I been having a little pain around my tummy or abdomen area, i been having this for the past week now at first I thought it was cramps but in the past I usually just get cramps like 2 days before my peroid and then I get my period. I don't know what going on with my body it seems like its playing tricks on me.

Went and got a blood test this morning, they told me they would call after 3 with the results, I have been staring at the clock all day long. lol Wish me luck

I am 25...Married and a mom to a 4 year old son...Have been trying to become pregnant again for a couple of months now...Should have gotten my period the 17th of January...Tried especially hard to conceive during the 4 days ovulation was supposed to take place...Dec 31-Jan 3rd...Feeling nauseous, breasts are a bit sore, but negative hpt results...I've taken about 10 of them...What are my chances of being pregnant? How long after a missed period would a positive prego result show if I were prego? Would it be better and more accurate if I get a blood test? I feel a bit crampy occasionally and have had some sharp pains in my lower abdomen...Maybe an ovarian cyst, or something? Thanks a bunch for responding.

It's very possible that you could be pregnant and not show positive on a test. However at only 6 days late it is too early to tell either way. I'm two weeks late and they still can't give me an answer. The best thing to do is relax, I know, easier said than done. You could be late on a count of stress only. I'll let you know what happens with me. It's nice to have someone to talk to who understands what I'm going through ;o)

never late - been trying to get pregnant for past 3 months (I know it's not long) but now I am 7 days late - very abnormal.... first response shows no baby??? how long should I wait till calling the doctor?

help, im 16 days late today and i usually start every 33-35 days so technically i guess you would say im 11 days late i took 2 hpt's and both were negative im scared to go to the doctor or get a blood test!! i hope this is just stress making my period late, but is it possible to be that late and not be pregnant?? i have no symptons...

well im 2 months late and ive taken 3 test and they all say "neg" i sometimes feel preg. like when i eat i get dizzy, havent had morning sickness, but my mom told me to stick my finger in my belly button and if i could feel a heart beat that means im preg cause only preg women can feel that cause thats where the baby breaths from... heres the tricky part it would be my ex hubbys and i dont think id tell him if i was....

Hi...it's a relief to see so many other people in the same boat! I am five days late and have taken 3 HPT and all are negative. I just had a baby in October of 04. Could that have something to do with it? Anyone else been pregnant so soon after having one?? Any advice would be great. Should I go to the doc? Kinda a stupid question but I'm ALWAYS early and this is very unusual for me. Thanks!
