Hi...it's a relief to see so many other people in the same boat! I am five days late and have taken 3 HPT and all are negative. I just had a baby in October of 04. Could that have something to do with it? Anyone else been pregnant so soon after having one?? Any advice would be great. Should I go to the doc? Kinda a stupid question but I'm ALWAYS early and this is very unusual for me. Thanks!

The test came back inconclusive, what does that mean? The nurse told me to test again in two weeks and try not to stress about it. Easier said than done, this is making me stress even more. What is going on here?

casey ~ That is totally the same thing my Doc told me "Just wait a couple more weeks and if you still don't have your period come back and we'll test again... " I just wanted to scream at her... " Just wait?! What are you serious, I'm freaking out here! " I'm now almost three weeks late and still no answers. I go back to the doctor today to harrass them for answers. ;o) Hang in there girls! I'll let you know what I find out later today, kay?

I posted some last week, and I just wanted to let you all know that I tested again about an hour ago and I got a positive. I was nearly 2 weeks late. So, yes...it can happen.

Hang in there guys. I stopped taking the pill last June with the intention of getting pregnant after a few months of world travel. July and August was a normal 28-30 day cycle, then whammo I didn't get my period at all in September, but I was still travelling continents, so it may have been related to too many changes. Mid-October I got my period after 46 days! November cycle came to 34 days. By December I had returned home and to normal life for over a month - at about 28 days I started to feel uncomfortable bloating like never before, my boobs were getting bigger and had numbing sensations for a few days, then one evening for no reason at all I felt really nauseous. My husband did not have this so it can't have been food related. The nausea stopped after only 10-20 mins. I was sure I was pregnant. I took a hpt and it was negative. The next morning I took another hpt - still negative. Then I got what I thought was my period, but this only last 2 days instead of the usual 4-5. This week I had another 2 day period, after what seems to be 38 day cycle. I don't know if a 2 day period means that I am not ovulating? It isn't until things like this happen that you realise hormones govern everything...!

I had AF on 27th Nov 04 for 4 day which is pretty normal then on 25th Dec 04 (next due date) had AF for only half a day (if that). i should have had another AF on 22nd Jan 05 but have nothing. Ive tested twice both negative. Im getting lots of pregnancy symtoms. I'm 7days late today and will do another test tomorrow, fingers crossed it will give me the answer I'm looking for .... a BFP! Otherwise I think I will have to go to visit my doctor on monday.

I am almost 4 weeks late on my period. I have taken 6 tests and all have been negative. I took one clear blue easy that said negative then looked at it a couple hours late and and saw 2 lines. I thought I had some symptoms earlier but I am not sure? Thought about going to the dr. but have not been yet. Has anyone else been in the same boat?

Hey Everyone, Seems as if we are all going through the same things! I am only 1 day late, but I am always on time! Before I had my child, I was on a to the day schedule, when I went back on BC, I have been on a 28 day schedule....Now I am late, but all tests are negative. I took the early pregnancy tests, and I have taken Clear Blue Easy(which is the only test that confimed my first pregnancy). Now, I'm just sitting anxiously waiting! Sunday will be the last day of my period to possibly start. Sunday morning, I plan on retesting. If still Neg. I am going to go next week, ASAP and get a blood test.

Hello ladies, I have had some wierd things happen to me. I started bleeding 4 days before my period was suppose to come could this have been implantation bleeding? The bleeding lasted for 5 day, however the first 2 days were this very faint pinkish color then the next two days were like a mild bit of blood(no where near a normal flow for me) and the last day was a light brownish color. I don't know if implantation bleeding can last this long or what. Anyway that was 10 days ago and I haven't bleed since. I am very tired and noticed that my breast have gotten bigger. I have taken 2PT and both were negative. What do I do?

i am 9 days late, every 30 days i have a period. I am 35 and had a tubaligation 15 years ago (pomeroy technique). two negative pregnancy test result test, 1 on 5th day late, 2nd on 8th day late). This length of time between periods is the longest. Have symptoms of being pregnant, frequent urination and dizzy. I'm scared it might be eptopic!! My question is ------- how long do I wait b4 I go to a doctor??? I do not have any abnormal pain that is associated with tubal or misplaced pregnancies!!!

Mrs t. I believe if AF hasn't come after 2 weeks, you should go visit the Dr. Melissa, don't trust a hpt stick after it turns few hours old, the reading would not be accurate. The room temperature affects it. Sorry if this isn't what you want to hear, but I work in a lab. The best thing is if you book yourself into the Dr now and get a blood test. The hcg level will show up if it is there - this will at least put your mind at rest. (-:

We were trying to get pregnant after a miscarriage. Now I'm a week late, just took a pregnancy test but it was negative. Was wondering if you got results yet? By the way, sure makes me feel better to know that I'm not the only one who's stressed out?

Being a nurse, I know that a million home tests could say negative when youre positive. Im having all of the symptoms except spotting, I felt sick earlier but its gone now. I have a little word to the wise for most of you women waiting for your blood results. If you go to a doctor and they send your results to the lab, find out which one it is. This is what I have done in the past and I have also encouraged others that just cant wait to find out.... The test is usually done by the next day contrary to popular belief. Call the lab and tell them that youre so and so from Dr whoevers office. Let them know your calling for the results of your test. THE WHOLE PURPOSE OF THIS IS TO PRETEND TO BE THE NURSE! I always say the patient has been calling all morning and I just wanted to see if the results were in. they will usually ask for the patients name and DOB so sound like a professional and give it before they ask. I hope you all find the answers youre looking for and I hope my little trick works for you, works like a charm for me and mine every time. Sarah

this morning i woke up due to mega tummy cramps and back pain and went to the loo and saw im bleeding also having clotts aswell, ????????????????????????????

Hi Emma, if your bleeding is filling pads at a greater than usual rate, you may be m/c. I suggest you go see your gp.

I really wish to be pregnant after having had a blighted ovum in October and I am in a similar situation to everybody else here: I had my last normal period on 15th December, then on 31st January (about two weeks before my period was due) I bled a little for two days. I have not had a period since. Asuming my periods were doing crazy things, I went to the doctor to ask for something to regulate my periods and ovulation because I wanted to become pregnant as soon as possible. He did an ultrasound and told me I needed no help as I was already pregnant. Far too early to see the embryo but he showed me the sac. I did not see it very clearly but he seemed pretty sure. As I was left unconvinced by the doctor I decided to do a home pregnancy test. I am not sure when my period should have been due because of the bleeding at the end of December but I have already done two home pregnancy tests and both have come up negative. I have pregnancy symptoms such as constant need to pee, tingly breasts, some nausea, some lighteadedness sometimes, lower back pain and a few cramps last week but not any more and I seem to feeling a little flutter inside my tummy some times.
Has anyone else had a similar experience and turned out to be pregnant?
I would appreciate any imput!
