Hi,
I really wish to be pregnant after having had a blighted ovum in October and I am in a similar situation to everybody else here: I had my last normal period on 15th December, then on 31st January (about two weeks before my period was due) I bled a little for two days. I have not had a period since. Asuming my periods were doing crazy things, I went to the doctor to ask for something to regulate my periods and ovulation because I wanted to become pregnant as soon as possible. He did an ultrasound and told me I needed no help as I was already pregnant. Far too early to see the embryo but he showed me the sac. I did not see it very clearly but he seemed pretty sure. As I was left unconvinced by the doctor I decided to do a home pregnancy test. I am not sure when my period should have been due because of the bleeding at the end of December but I have already done two home pregnancy tests and both have come up negative. I have pregnancy symptoms such as constant need to pee, tingly breasts, some nausea, some lighteadedness sometimes, lower back pain and a few cramps last week but not any more and I seem to feeling a little flutter inside my tummy some times.
Has anyone else had a similar experience and turned out to be pregnant?
I would appreciate any imput!

Hi MLC, I'm having similar symptoms. Sometimes htp can give false negative though. I also feel something fluttering in my lower abdomen? What is that? My breasts feel heavier and tender, and my nipples tingle and burn. I'm 6 days late, negative tests, not sure if I'm pregnant but I have doc's appointment on wed. My cramps are on and off for 2 weeks now. Best of luck to you MLC!

Hi to all. Im 100% sure of a false negative reading. Im now 22 years old, I got pregnant when I was 15 and kept it from my mother for 6 months. As soon as she saw my stomach she raced to the store to purchase 2 pregnancy tests. I took both which came up completely negative and ironically went into labor the next day. The two pregnancy test where First Response and EPT. I am not 6 days late and have had 2 negative tests

Good luck with your doctors apointment on Wednesday. I am going to call mine today as I feel I am going crazy here.
The flutters in your tummy are aparently normal in the early days, especially if you have already had other children. Its your pregnancy developing although in my case, I am starting to think its all in my mind which makes me very depressed.

Hi MLC, I'm starting to feel it's all in my head too. I cant help but think that my breasts and nipples are tender because I keep on touching them. I dont have morning sickness, no veins showing around my breasts and no "white pimples" around my nipples. But hey, at least your doc has confirmed you're pregnant. Hi everyone, I'm officially 4 days late now and I'm normally like clock work. I have taken 2 hpts and both have been negative!!:( Although I have had period like symptoms tender breasts, bloating, back pain, headaches. moodiness, etc. I'm wondering what is going on!? I had a miscarriage about 7 months ago and again Hpts proved to be ineffective in detecting it. I didn't realize that I was pregnant until I was at the doctors for my checkup, for which I went because I was having horrible cramps, shortly afterwards I began bleeding heavily!!:(
So now I'm a little stressed out by not knowing what's going on, after reading the posts on this site I see that I'm not alone. I'm going to schedule a doctor’s appointment to get a blood test. Hopefully that will provide me some answers.

Still no answer - Yeah, the sooner you see the doc, the sooner you know what's going on and can put your mind at rest. Best of luck!!

i do not know if i am preg. or not..
i have sex once then 5 day's later both times he cam in me. i was bleeding the 2nd time, the next day it stopped then started that night theen stopped the next morning then sttarted again.
i have alot of the symptoms ...
back,stomach ach,major headace,urnating alot, really really tired..
i was 3 day's late on my period..
i want a baby but i don't know what's going on. i took a test and it was (-)
is it too soon should i take another one later on in the week?

I am also 6 days late and tests are neg (with the exception of a faint line--possibly) I am no help here other than to say you aren't alone. I haven't called the dr. yet just so I can make sure before. I wish you luck! It just doesn't make any sense...

i have little tiney feeling like butterflies in my
tummy..lol
kinda little cramps sometimes it hurts sometimes not!
my back hurts when in standing up, my legs hurt, i pee alot
and #2 alot..lol
iv'e been eating alot more then normal, major headaches ,
dizzyness,
no breast swelling or anything though..
i tool a test today and it said negative.
i think i am though, ive never felt like this before, and i really want
a baby...
lol
but anyways

i had sex thursday (jan-27) and monday (feb.31)
on the 31st i started my period heavy like normal, then all the sudden
the next day it stops!
he cam in me both times.

it's been a few day's now could i be preg. ? do you think? i do not
know who to ask, my doc. does not even know and i can not cheack my blood
cause i just recenly had donated before this happend...
anyways e-mail me soon..

It's possible. I am four days late and took two test came out neg., but I went to the Dr.'s today because I have an IUD. Dr. gave me two test and it came out a faint pos. Now I'm waiting for a blood test. Please keep us posted on further information.

Im not much help, but I have the same kind of problem. My last period was 10 days late... and I kind of shrugged it off. Me and my husband have not been to carful at all, were kind of leaving the baby situation up to god, if you know what I mean. Well 2 weeks before I was supposed to start this time around I was taking a shower and there was trace amounts of blood. It wasnt like a period either, it was kind of chunky brownish stuff. I am currently 13 days late and have taken two clear blue digital hpts, both of which have said not pregnant. I took the test strips (that you put in the digital reader) and looked at them to find that there was a dark line and a very faint second line. I know that in other tests even a faint line means pregnant... I dont know what to think, please help me !!!

Hey all, i was reading everyones posts, and wasn't going to post myself. (I wonder how many people don't post who read this and are in the same boat with those neg. hpt's.) i am 10 days late and have had 2 neg. here's my story. i have 2 boys already, my first boy wasn't planned, i missed my pill and we just used to "pull out" method, after being 7 - 10 days late i took a hpt it was negative. i was still getting more and more symptoms tho. it wasn't until i was almost 3 to 4 weeks late that the test did come out positive to my surprise, (becuase i believed the first one i took, but i had so many signs by 3-4 weeks, i just had to make sure). with my second baby, he was a planned one so i got a test and it was positive at only me being like 5 to 6 days late!! so right now, up to this point we have just been using the "pull out" method, it had worked for us for a long time - even tho i know about the pre-ejaculation(sp?) stuff. if i am pg again, which i have a feeling i am, (got the same symtoms) it would be exciting even tho its a little earlier than we had planned. you know i wonder if those hpt are sensitive to the stages of different sperm. (you know the pre stuff, to the climax stuff.) maybe i should become i scientist. LOL!! no really- it's just weird that this is the same thing that happened with my first boy and maybe this one? they both were/are unplanned. my 2nd baby tho, the tests came out postive right away. too ironic. i will wait until i'm 3 to 4 weeks late to test again. anyway i hope i've been helpful to someone in sharing my experiences and i wish all of you the best of luck!

Im 3 days late an have a pain by my gallblader an cramping. could this mean that I am pregnet I went to an ultersound an they told me it was not gal bladder?????????
