dose any one know if there is a certain amount of days you should leave after your missed period befor doing a rubbish home test?
as my husband and i are trying for a baby, i have been doing them a few days after we have "been" together also.( i have been getting a little excitted at the possibillity there may be baby)
i have noticed this morning that i have got a darker discharge, like before you come on, but it most devently isn't blood. is that normal? if i am at all normal.

I guess im having the same problem as all i was 12 days late it supost to come on the 15 of january but on the 27 of january i took a home pregnancy test and it came out negative on that same day at night i started spotting but but not red it was like brown liek for 2 days i was spotting brown and it stop but it was like spotting like for 1 sec and stop it passed 3 hours again and stoped now its feb 12 and i dont c my period coming i guess im goin to wait till the 15 of feb because buying home pregnancy test its a waste of money HEEELP I NEED TO KNOW IF IM PREGNANT OR NOT!!!!!!!!!!!

was the blood test positive? I am in the same situation 8days late

hello ladies, My husband had a vasectomy after our youngest was born two years ago. I was suppost to have my p on the 20th of Jan. that is giving my self 44days from the end of my last p. and still nothing! I do not know whats going on. we never had his Sperm checked after he had his vasectomy. I know TMI sorry. I took to test one did not work the other was - But with my other three kids I did not get a + until I was three to four months pregnant.

Hi ladies (and some gents!)- i see there are lots of ppl in my position- i'm 11 days late, 4 neg hpt's, yet no sign of my period! it's almost like my body came to a frozen stop about 3 weeks ago... cramps, headaches, tired, etc. Is there anyone that has already been in this boat and found out they were preg? I was in this boat before about 2 years ago & was not preg- and i know that most of the time that is how it will be =( but right now i'm looking for support from anyone who's gotten the lucky draw!!! **i'm hoping for the best... for myself & all of you!!!!!! i'm also 6 days late and very regular, same thing, 2 negative home tests. I have a dr. appt. in 2 days...we'll see!

wow... this makes me happy that i am not the only one with negative results! kinda mad too! i am 4 days late and several pregnancy tests have been negative! my husband and i have tried for three years and i always take my tests too early! i've never been more than 1 day late on my periods though! i should buy stock in crappy hpt's! whats the deal?

I'm 13 days late and so I just took a pregnancy test. Guess what - negative. I'm only 16 years old so I hope that this is the case. But I've heard of people who have negative tests and are still pregnant. I've got an appointment with Planned Parentood tomorrow . . . we'll have to see how it goes.

Hi! It's the first real month that my husband and I are trying. I am normally right on the money with my period and it lasts for 7 to 9 days! I am now 5 days late, 3 negative tests and 1 unsure if it was positive. I went to the dr. today and testing negative with the urine test. They told me to wait 2 weeks and if I don't get my period, please come back for a blood test. I asked them to please just give me the test now that it is driving me insane not knowing!! If I am that would be the BEST news ever! If not, I'd just like my period to get here so I am closer to trying...has anyone really heard of this happening and the blood coming back positive? Thanks!

Yep, If you read on this board a lot of woman get - hpt and end up being pregnant. I personaly HATE hpt now. I just took my last one and it gave me NO results, Nothing at all no pink line in either window. I'm going to go buy four Hpt maybe a good brand. Is E.P.T good??

I am 4 days late and have taken a total of 4 hpt. The first two were positive and the last two were negative. The lab also reported negative. Finding out about my other children seemed a lot easier than this. I didn't expect the confusion. The positive tests were taken the day I missed my period which doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me. The other 2 were in the last 24 hours. Anyone have any clues?

Thanks for your reply. I see so many odd things posted here and it really gives me hope. I told my husband that I 'just had a feeling' but I've never been pregnant before so I really am not sure. I just know that it appears there are no signs of my p anywhere! I had a little cramping in the abdominal area, back ache, extreme drowsiness, and nausau with no vomitting. I just feel that it's true and I am pregnant but sometimes I feel like I'm just pysching myself up for disappointment. Baby dust me please!!

well the same for me but now im almost one month late. and im always sleepy, hungry, tired, and i think im pregnet but im scared to take a pregnecy test and for it to say negative. last month i was late 7 days i took a pregnecy test and it said negative. im going to wait till the end of this month to see if it comes late. hopefully im pregnet.

Maribeth- well good luck and baby dust to you! I just called for my test results (blood test) and I'm sitting here a mess at work! It took me like 20 minutes to get up the nerve to even call!! I'm trying to be positive (literally! LOL) and not be too disappointed if it's neg...wish me luck! It's day 6 and still no p....
