I'm going through the same thing. I'm 3 days late and I've taken 3 HPT's. They all came out negative. I'm about to die not knowing whats going on. I have a 2 yr old daughter, but I dont want anymore children. I know that HCG doubles each day, so those tests should detect it if I am pregnant, right?

Alina, you are going to waste your money if you take a test every day. I know it is hard not knowing, but it would be best if you wait a week before taking the test again, or better yet, get the dr. to do a blood test --blood tests are a little better at detecting the pregnancy hormone. You have probably seen others say to make sure the dr. reads you the results, so you know it's accurate. I think dr.'s like to wait 'til you are at least two weeks late, tho' to make sure the test works properly, but some dr.'s don't mind taking your money, either. With my first child, my hpt showed positive within the first few days of being late. But, I was pregnant with my second child and didn't get a positive on an hpt until I was two weeks late -- even at being that late in the game, the test showed a faint line. I think every lady is different and shows the hormone at different stages during pregnancy, just like every pregnancy is different.

Hello, my story is the same as all of you ladies, im 3 days late, but all HOT are neg.
I did the First Response Preg Tet, which you can use 4 days before your period is due, but it was neg. Have any of you used this kind of test?

I am 14 weeks late and had negative tests. The doctor sent me away after 8 weeks and said I was probably stressed. So i'm going back to see him on Tuesday for some answers! I too have had early symptoms, and my stomach is definetely growing (maybe i've eaten too much!!). I've been pregnant once before and lost it at 9 weeks, so as other have said, you tend to 'know' when you are actually preggers. I'll be back when I know any more!!

I'm 8 days late, I have taken 2 home pregnancy tests, all say negative, My period comes in once in 32 or 33 days. I am very tired and not interested ti do the work and want to sleep could it be a pregnancy? Is it possible to be pregnant, and not show up on a home test yet? Advise Please!!

hello, do you know if i can still get pregnant if my periods are iregular? because dosent this then mean i'm not ovulating?

hi, im 11days late, im period is always on the clock 24days... im never late, my boobs are very sore and swollen. funny thing is, my husband has got a low sperm count.

You can still get pregnant if you have irregular periods, you do still ovulate just at different times each month. If you are trying for a baby it can be more difficult to detect your fertile time. Hope this helps x

You seem stressed, and stress can delay your period. This could be the reason you are late. It could also be that you are pregnant though. There are many reasons why your period can be dealyed besides pregnancy. Like I said it could be due to stress, or an unhealthy or change in diet, change in routine, exercise. You need to think to yourself what your chances of being pregnant are, did you use contraception? Was it mid cycle? etc When 2 people with average fertility have unprotected sex at the females most fertile time, there is only a 26% chance of pregnancy. So calm down or the moment. Try and buy a home test or go to a local walk in centre!

It sounds to me like you might of been lucky.You have V. regular periods, So If your breasts are more sore than they have ever been, and they look bigger, its looking good for you. Good Luck x

Hi Ladies, it's nice to see that others are in the same boat. Well, I'm 6 days late with 3 neg hpt's. I'm really kind of confused. I had alot of clear discharge, and some white too. I waited to see if it was a yeast infection (due to the white discharge, 'cause I know that has the ability to delay AF) but no other symptoms of a YI...well, my nipples are very sore to the touch, and a little bigger, I guess you could say swollen. It looks like I'm walking into a freezer when I'm not cold. Strange. I've been more bloated and gassy than normal, and sometime feel like my period is coming on...but it's not. Like slight lower back pain.. but it doesn't last all day. Any ideas? Does it seem like I could be pregnant? I'm thinking waiting until next week to go get the blood test. When I'm 14days late (to verify the absence of AF) That would be on the 9th (=) my b-day anyway) What do you all think?

Steph, it's possible that you are pregnant! I had 3 negative HPTs, and one at the doctor and I'm pregnant! I think it was just too early for me..good luck!

Want...how long did you wait before your test was positive at the dr? Congratz though =) Would it be best to wait another week? Just to be SURE I'm late?

wow..and i thought i was the only one. I am 12 days late and my period usually comes 2-4 days later than the month before so technically i am like 8-10 days late. i took 2 home tests and they were negative, i was very disappointed..so im going for a blood test in a week, hopefully sooner if someone cancels w/ my doctor..but i hope the results are positive and i wish the best to all of you ladies.

I am in the same boat as you are. I am 7 days late today- went for a blood test on Monday and awaiting the results. Hopefully we'll both know something soon. The suspense is killing me!
