I WAS 6 DAYS LATE FOR MY PERIOD,THEN I GOT IT FOR ONLY 1 DAY,I TOOK A TAST AND IT TO CAME OUT NEGATIVE.BUT THIS SI COMMON FOR ME IT NEVERS SHOWS UP UNTILL IM FURTHER LONG MY BODY DOES NOT PRODUCE THE HORMONE IN PREGNANCY FAST..I HAVE 2 KIDS AND BOTH OF THEM I HAD TO BE FURTHER LONG FOR IT EVEN TO SHOW UP ON A TEST SO GOOD LUCK...

Brandy,, how far along were u in the past before u got a positive result?

chris, have u got any of the other symptoms? i have at least 8 of the top ten early pregnancy symptoms so i jus dont see how i could be anything other. (these symptoms arent normal for me so i no im not confusing them wi period signs). I went to docs today and demanded blood test (he tried to give me pee test but i have read blood is more accurate plus if y my tests r showing neg y would theirs be able to pick it up in my pee). I get my results 2moro so i would suggest getting into docs and getting blood test done.

me too! We've been trying for 2yrs.! I had twins 5 yrs. ago and had AF for the 1st 2 mo. I'm now 4 days late, have lower tummy cramps starting around noon every day, only to turn into gas? took a test this morning, neg. of course, what is my bodys issue?

hi kelly i have the same trouble as you. ive done 2 pregnancy tests and they said negative but i havent been on my period since january. ive had symtons as well. hope it goes ok for you

Kelly I am also 6 days late, and been ttc for 8 months. I have taken 2 preg tests, and both negative. My dr said to wait until i am past 1 week late and then come in for a blood test. I have no symptoms except my boobs hurt alot. Have you felt any different lately?

Danielle, first of all, your school may have a clinic or some sort medical facility for students which will probably offer free or reduced services for their students. If not... planned parenthood is always a nice place to inquire, and they are very warm and relatively inexpensive (if not free) for the uninsured.

Anyway...I'm on month 2 and on the 2 week wait. Patience is not a virtue here.... Good luck to all!!!!!!

Elle, Chris, Sara, BEST OF LUCK. Keep us posted!!!! This is sooooo frustrating! Its amazing how sensitive and aware I am to any abdominal twitch now. I'm feeling stuff I've never felt before. I guess this goes with the territory. I'm trying to be in the mindset that it will happen when it happens, but let's be realistic... 2 weeks to go. This month I'm going to lay off the hpt's until I'm at least 14 days late. Famous last words... We'll see.....

I am 2 months late and 10 hpt and 1 dr test and all negative. I took blood test and hopefully tomorrow I will find out. If I am not then I wonder what is going on with me. I am only 35 I think thats to soon for the change. I have been cramping but nothing. My periods are never accurate, but never this long.

yes i have the past 2 months i was 6 days late from my normal 28 day cycle my test keep coming out negative. im very confused.

Need sum advice.... well iambout 3weeks late now ..after i was supose to start my period feb.20th and never did.... well iv beenpregnat before but its been 2 years since i had my last baby... so i kinda forgot what to expect...anyhow iv never got any morning sickness before with neither of my kids....so im kinda lost..i took 2 hpt test already and both came back negitive..... but i feel like i am pregnant.... so does anyone have any advice on what i can or shoould do...i cant wait no longer.....

I'm 5 days late and have took 3 hpt - all negative. I'll wait to test again on Friday. Was anyone sick during the time they may of ovulated? I had pneumonia. Just wondering if that illness through my cycle off.

Good to know that I'm not the only one out there that feels like there loosing it. Here's my story......my last period started on 2/8/05. My husband and I started TTC on 2/26/05. I have a 29 day cycle and was due to start on 3/9/05. I haven't been on any birth control since 8/04. My period is always regular down to the day and almost hour. The last time I was late I was pregnant with my son. However, I didn't take a HPT until I was 8 days late with him. I took my first HPT on 3/13/05 when I was 4 days late. I took another today 3/16/05 at 6 days late, both were negative. I never had morning sickness with my son....but I am having other symptoms.....such as sensitive breasts and nipples (tingling)...breasts look and feel larger...tired....light cramping....and i've even started getting a little tummy (my waist line proves it). My friends think im stressing over it and that I want to be pregnant so bad that im imagining all this in my head. We just started TTC and realisticly I assumed that it may take months before I became prego, so I wasn't stressed until I got my first negative HPT result. My husband is convinced that im prego and that the HPT's are wrong. It's so frustrating to feel pregnant, look pregnant...but no positive HPT to verify it. I figure I will retest this weekend, hopefully with a positive result....if not I will be making an appointment with my OB on 3/21 to set up a blood test.
