Good to know that I'm not the only one out there that feels like there loosing it. Here's my story......my last period started on 2/8/05. My husband and I started TTC on 2/26/05. I have a 29 day cycle and was due to start on 3/9/05. I haven't been on any birth control since 8/04. My period is always regular down to the day and almost hour. The last time I was late I was pregnant with my son. However, I didn't take a HPT until I was 8 days late with him. I took my first HPT on 3/13/05 when I was 4 days late. I took another today 3/16/05 at 6 days late, both were negative. I never had morning sickness with my son....but I am having other symptoms.....such as sensitive breasts and nipples (tingling)...breasts look and feel larger...tired....light cramping....and i've even started getting a little tummy (my waist line proves it). My friends think im stressing over it and that I want to be pregnant so bad that im imagining all this in my head. We just started TTC and realisticly I assumed that it may take months before I became prego, so I wasn't stressed until I got my first negative HPT result. My husband is convinced that im prego and that the HPT's are wrong. It's so frustrating to feel pregnant, look pregnant...but no positive HPT to verify it. I figure I will retest this weekend, hopefully with a positive result....if not I will be making an appointment with my OB on 3/21 to set up a blood test. I am like 11 days late and I too amm very stress out . If it doesn't happen this weekend I'm going to get tested at my clinic. The thing that is puzzling me is I had my tubes tide. At this point in my life I don't want another baby. I was content sitting back waiting on the grandkids to arrive in about I'd say another 5 to 8 years.

Dear All! this is not instant Bru coffee. Have patience. Do not start testing so soon, my mama says that tests are not always positve, or to be more clear they are not detectible in the early stages, wait for 2 weeks and then proceed for a blood test, the more professional the better confirmation it gives.

I don't want to sound too negative, but I was going through the same as you all (I posted a note in Feb on here). I've since found out that i've miscarried, it seems that if there's a negative result, or a faint line, it could be an indication that if you are pregnant that it might not be going too well. I'm sure that in some cases women do find out that things are fine.. but this is my second exerience of it. My body changed etc, which makes it even harder when you find out the worst - this time round I kept an open mind and didn't set myself up for a fall. I know how heartbreaking it is to have to pick yourself up when you've prepared for a baby. I do hope you all have better experiences than I have, just be prepared for anything though -keep an open mind :)

kelly - i'm in your EXACT boat - were you due for AF last sunday? and now it's Sunday again and still no AF? me too!!!! I've gotten 3 BFN's and I just have no idea if I am or not - but we have been trying! want to be my waiting buddy? :)

My wife's periods are 32 days exactly regular. But now she is 5 days late. She was sick with flu for about 4 days, right in the middle when she was supposed to have her period. HPT showed negative at 2 days late. We have always used a condom since before the last period. She thinks she feels something inside her stomach, but I just think she is imagining it, because she is worrying about getting pregnant all the time. Is it normal to have irregular periods? She never took any contraceptive pills either.

hi everyone.i've been reading all the posts and have a couple of questions. i was on depo for a year and stopped it almost 4 months ago. i have not had a period since october2003.my bf uses the pull out method 98% of the time. well, we had sex almost a week ago and afterwards i bled when i went to the bathroom.it did not continue.well, a couple days before that i thought i was finally getting my first period after a year and a half. then ibled after sex and now nothing. i have some symptoms:bloating,lower back aches like cramps, tiredness, tenderness in the lower abdomen. i took a hpt yesterday and it was negative.could i still be pregnant?or could i be getting an upcoming period ?i felt very similar before i found out i was preggo with my daughter 2 years ago.someone help me please.

Kristina-I was on depo a few years ago and took over 1.5 years to be back to normal. Sounds like you are just getting your period again. The pullout method is really not very safe though. Be careful with that. I am on the pill now. Had my period for one day last month, took a neg. hpt, and am now 2 days late this month. No spooting like usual either. Tender breasts, etc., but could be period symptoms. Am hesitent to test. What do you ladies think?

Hey everyone. I was surfing the net looking for info on hpt. When I found this site, I was surprised that so many people were going through the same thing as we. I am 10 days over, have done 2 hpts (both negative) and went to the doctor yesterday arvo and had a blood test. Results come back this arvo. I hope it is ++!! My husband and I have been trying for 6 months, so fingers crossed. I just wanted to thank everyone for their posts and allowing people to see their pregnancy concerns. It makes my worry easier!!! Partner is 7 days late, 2 negative tests so far. I began worrying about an ectoptic, but reading this thread i see so many people in the same boat. Anyone else suspect that pregnancy test manufacturers make 80% of tests blank because we will just blame ourselves? Godspeed to everyone.

I am going through the same thing. I have a question though. I know i definitely ovulated 2 weeks ago. And my usual luteal phase or whatever is 14 days. It's now 3 days past that and no period. Is it possible to ovulate and just not get a period without being pregnant? I also have cysts and I've been feeling my ovaries a lot lately... so i'm not sure if that could play into it. But I am wondering if ovulating automatically means you must get a period every time (unless you're pregnant).

Hey I am a new commer and I just wanted to say that my period is for days late and I have taken two tests they both say negitive and I an also going to take a blood test next week.But this has happend to me alot and I have always been negitive so dont get your hopes up!! Just pray and it should work out for you?!?!

hey my sister took 13 hpt with her 5yr old an finally got a blood test done which was pos. she again recently went through the same thing she took several hpt plus 2 urine test at doc, and like 3 blood test before she got a positive, this time she only had breat tenderness and still had her monthly, when she missed one month of her monthly that is the month she got her positive result when they did the us they were surprised she is now 4 1/2 months so just keep in mind that sometimes none of the test work. as for me i am 3 weeks late done took 8 urine test and 1 blood but it was a quanative blood test not beta which lab said is best it picks up earlier then the others and al of mine are neg and I have all signs and symptoms (i know) I have 3 kids have had 2 miscarriages and even once where I only had a empty sac the baby did not form. so best of luck to all of you and as for me all I can do is sit back and wait.

I'm having so many symtons, ill,felt preg,started bleeding weeks before I am do.(I normally have bad pain with I start.). . They say that you can bleed some as your body gets ready for the baby. I took a preg test today neg..... I keep in mind My test were neg 4 months when Preg with Daughter...Crossing fingers....

I'm 16 and the tests i took was negative. I've had most of the symptoms after my first missed period.I haven had a blood test done yet, because my parents don't know about it. I would like to know for sure if i am pregnant. Could you help me find out?

What kind of tests is everyone using? I took a First Reponse test when I was three days late. Now I am 5 days late and have always been regular. I have been having cramping for the last 1 1/2 weeks and one day of spotting. I will take another test in 2 days.
