hey everyone, still no period..still no positive, i think ill call my doctor tomorrow and see if i can just get a check up..ive never been this late before..even after i went off the pill my periods were like clockwork..hope some of you are getting positives anyway.

hi, ladies i am now 7 days late , i have taken 4 home pregnancey test and 1 blood test due you think i still can be pregnant or could it be i am just late. But a week this is driving me crazy. please help

Sadly I had a miscarage in the early hours this morning. Natures way of saying things are'nt right. My advice would be to go for blood tests when you are more than 3 days late as pregnancy tests won't detect a weak pregnancy and in the meantime a doctor would be able to inform of what precautions need to be taken. Joe, I am sorry to hear that. Thanks for the advice about the blood test. I am going to make an appointment today. I just wasn't sure if I should wait, but I know what I am going to do now.

Deborah, how are things going? How far along were you when your blood test showed postive? What brand of HPT's did you use that you got a negative?

I am also 4 days late. I ahve taken 3 test and all are negative. My only problem is I had a miscarriage back on July 1st. I got my first period 4 weeks later and now I am late. I too have had headaches, mild cramping and nausea. I now know that I am not alone. I wish the home kits were accurate. MY last pregnancy were all negative and my doctor put me on progesterone to bring on my period and I ended up pregnant. Although I lost the baby 10 weeks later. ANyone else have this happen?

Hi everyone. Jo, you didn't mention the results of your bloodtest. Obviously it was a positve since you miscarried. I'm so sorry for you. Did the Dr. tell you what your hCG levels were? Were they low? Did he think it was a Blighted Ovum? I DO KNOW HOW YOU FEEL since I too am miscarrying right now. I had brown spotting for 10 days up until yesterday which is when I started with red blood. Today it is flowing alot and I am getting some clots. I also have bad cramping and a sore lower back. You say you miscarried in the morning hours. Are you saying that you are done miscarrying? Isn't it a process of a week or so? What were, or are your miscarriage symptoms Jo? It would be good to keep each other informed of how things go. My Dr. says that I should ovulate in approx. 2 weeks and I can start trying again. I am confused because some say wait a cycle or two but isn't that only if you have a D&C?
Jenny...Thanks for your concern. I was 4 days past my expected period when I got a pos. on my bloodtest but my hCG levels were very low..86 which was because of a blighted ovum. I used the First Response pregnancy test twice and two lab urine tests and all came out negative. The last urine test was taken the same time my boodtest was and it was neg. while the bloodtest was pos.

I'm 5 days late, i have taken 3 HPT and one at the clinic (at 1day late) and blood work (at 1day late) all of which have showed NEG. i lost my baby at 20wks in March and had a D&C but started AF May13 and since then every 30 days. We really tried this month so i'm hoping for a positive but should i not get my hopes up with all the negatives i received? i got a +HPT on day 33 the last time after trying for only a month. i don't have any symptoms for anything except for being very tired. Should i ask for the 'better' blood test to be done? if so when? thanx

Hi Kelly and all of you other ladies. I am in the same boat. I am now 5 days late and refuse to even take an HPT until at least 1 week after my period was due. I have gotten my hopes up over and over this entire year and I am really trying not to do that to myself again.

hey im 12 days late and very regular had a test at doctors and it came out negative im waitin till monday when it is 2 weeks to hav another one but i am showing sigs but it could be all in my hed coz i really do want to be pregnant even tho the father is not around so evryone plz pray for me that i am pregnant

ok - when we decided to get pregnant the first time, 10 years ago..no problem, got prego on the first try..since then we have never actually prevented, just been unlucky in the timing I am hoping. Anyway, 2 months ago I started Clomid and doing ovulation kits. According to the ovul kits - yesterday was the day...my husband has a low sperm count so we have to limit the number of times to get the best shot. I do not know if it is just my wishful thinking, and my wanting this so bad, but I swear - already today, I feel weird. I know I will not be able to wait another 2 weeks to find out if it happened...does anyone know how quickly a bloodtest can tell me? I read that they can tell as soon as 48hours after conception...i do not want to call my doctor yet but i cannot stand the suspence either!

hi I am almost in the same situation but the blood test was also neg and I have the symptoms also my period is 8 days late and I am also regular I just got a brownish discharged yesterday morning but it went away I know its not normal so could I have something else wrong with me or could I be pregnant and my hcg hormone just is very low please advise me with what you think

Hi deborah, sorry to know you are miscarrying. I just had one a month ago. The spotting and bleeding took about 12 days, the sac came out at the 3rd. And I was checked HCG every week make sure it keeps dropping until it's down under 6. My doc told me to try after 3 cycles. so it depends on you when to start to try again, most doc would say after 2-3 months, some said after the bleeding and the cramping gone.
Low HCG and low Progestorone are somthing should be concerned even though doc would say everybody is different and some women do carry their baby in full term with low HCG or low progestorone.

Well I am at the END of my 5th day late. In about another 10 hours, it will actually be 6 days late. I am still holding out and have not tested. I swear I am having symptoms, but it is probably wishful thinking.

Has anyone on this board found out they were pregnant after all, besides Roc. (congrats, by the way)
